I have been slowly working through a lot of random back logged items. Some scatter terrain, objectives, a couple hive dwellers that may have some questionable blood. All in all though, progress has been steadily moving forward. I have some age of sigmar endless spells I have started noodling with. Still have lots of necromunda bits to finish up. I got out all of my old necromunda models and found a mountain of nearly untouched Scavvies. When the weather cooperates a little more, you may see them all based and primed. I think they would be a fun edition to the game.

I have also started preparing for our next campaign in Indianapolis. Who knows when we will be able to get the thing going, but we are trying a super narrative one. This will be our third campaign. Anyone have any thoughts or experience around running a very narrative focused campaign? It doesn't even have to be a necromunda campaign, just looking for any tips or tricks. Our last few campaigns have all been very, traditional in the execution.

A test model for an enforcer. I was unsure on the colors but i wanted to do something really different. I also tried a freehand necromunda symbol. Thoughts?

I love it. It reminds me of void stuff, which is itself nodding at Dune. Ace.

I still haven't gotten those decals for my enforcers but I did work on another project that I've always wanted to do.

I remember looking at these crazy alien plant things like 20+ years ago. I always thought, that would be easy. I never actually took the time to do it though. I finally did it and I couldn't be happier with the results. Now to paint them. I almost want to do the original green plant with red tooth picks. Thoughts?

Hello dakka friends,

I hope you are all doing well. It has been much more time then I would have liked but that should be better now. I finally got a new computer rig at my house so it'll make posting pictures and chatting with all of you MUCH easier. Trying to do all of this through my phone sucks.

With that in mind my hobby time has been steady and filled with all sorts of projects. I have continued to work on random necromunda stuff. I have picked up some adeptus titanicus stuff but I have really been spending most of my hobby time working on models from a game called Shadows of Brimstone. The models aren't anything to be super excited about but it has been a game that can be played remotely and it is a blast to play.

In 2020 I have been playing so many games via Zoom and other programs that my friends and I started a Twitch channel just to hang out and chat. Every Sunday for months now, we get together, paint and build models. The rest of the week we play games and do various other things. All of that prompted the new computer rig which brings us all up to speed with where we are now. I am going to go grab some pictures of my current WIP's. I just primed a bunch of stuff so next steps will be some painting.

I look forward to catching back up with everyone.

These are some of my current projects for Necromunda. Some dangerous plants, that I wanted to make just like the old 40k ones from the 90's. A cargo knight used in the dangerous parts of the Underhive. And the engine to a land train. Please tell me what you think.

I love the RT plants. Cargo knight looks exciting, but maybe add a crane? Land train looks chunky.

Awesome. I like the original paint on the plants.

Is that the knight I got you years ago and just surfaced?

My original plan was just that but I could not figure out a way to set up the crane, that I liked. Once it is all painted, I have a bunch of already painted barrels and cargo for his back. Those platforms will be holding stuff.

Yes Solar, that is your knight from years ago. Thanks for the comments guys! Next is too figure out the paint for both.

Love that land train engine, what was it made from?

Thanks guys. The land train bottom is an old gi joe tank with all the top bits chopped off. The top is a laser cut wooden train kit that my buddy cut for me. The side rails are laser cut wooden walkways. The middle is foam board. The rivets are plasticard. The bits are metal and plastic from who knows where.

It was a blast to put together. Now I'm unsure of how I want to paint it.

Some models and some serious WIP.

Here are pictures of some Shadows of Brimstone models that I have been plowing through! Every Sunday I work quickly on these guys using a lot of contrast paints. I have enjoyed slapping them together.

Yesterday I tried my hand at some marbling. I realized after I had started that the marbling veins should be somewhat parallels but it still works.

I want to try my hand at it again. I learned a lot. I am not sure I want to spend more time on this particular model. Are any of you aware of some good marbling tutorials? I watched a handful, using wires and cheese clothe, air brushes and more.

Here are some second hand titanicus models that I have been cleaning up and building. These models are great! I am undecided how to paint them but that warlord is standing without being fully glued together. I was very impressed with the model and how it sits. Very nice indeed. Now all I need is too decide what house to paint them as.

Amazing my copy of Shadows (old west core version) arrived this week, and though it's for xmas it's good to get an idea of how the figs look from one a fellow dakkanaut (although we're closely approaching dakkasauruses...) I think your marbling looks great - I'd love to see that on the AT stuff.

Nice work ice... some Halloween mixed in there along with a variety of really interesting minis. Love your marble. I've tried that once or twice and have found it to be very challenging and somewhat frustrating. I think you did very well. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the titans.

Thanks Graven and Gits. That's a great idea on marbling the titanicus guys. I may do just that.

I hope you enjoy your "christmas" gift. I've really enjoyed Shadows. It's very brutal and crazy, all while being fun. I've picked up a handful of sets now. I'll try to share more of the models as I try to quickly paint them up.

I hadn't even thought that far ahead yet Solar, but you're probably right.

I just primed some titanicus models today. I may be working on them some tomorrow, we shall see.

Side note, have any of you utilized Frontline gaming for trading in models?
