I can't find anything in the rules listing other than terminator army counts as two models, reading the drop pod entry doesn't show anything. The only rule I found about this is they can't go in rhinos.

Any help would be appreciated.

edit: Should have been clearer sorry , this is in reference to attaching characters to a squad and those characters being in terminator armour and the squad having a drop pod.

Terminators can no longer take Drop Pods as a transport option.

Terminators can't take drop pods as a transport choice. They can only take land raiders. They can all teleport in though, if you want to deep strike them.

I don't have my Marine codex on me at the moment, but as long as you can attach an Independent Character to a squad with the Drop Pod as a transport option, you should be able to include him and he'll take up the space of 1 model.

Relevent codex/pages for models in TA counting as 2 models, that would include characters:

Black Templars: page 38, drop pods and 42 both land raiders (do the math)
Blood Angels: pages 23 under both land raiders and 25 for drop pods
Chaos Space Marines: page 101
Daemonhunters: page 22 (for at least 1 character)
Dark Angels: pages 86-87
Space Marines: page 102
Space Wolves: as Space Marines
Witch Hunters: as Space Marines, since no Sister can wear TA

It think that covers it. I had some spare time.

Ah, nicely done Homer. Yep, looks like your attached character takes up two spaces in a drop pod. Good thing pods now have a transport capacity of 12...

Sorry, but you can't use rules in another codex to claim that a model in Terminator armor takes up two places in a drop pod. Remeber GW has said that each codex uses it's own rules. That's why Daemonhunters don't have Heavy 4 Rending Assault Cannons. Thus the only relevant rule on the matter is the one found on page 102 of Codex Space Marines.

Space wolf termies can, wolf guard in terminator armor or w/e. Oddly enough this now means SW players can stuff 12 into a pod now.

Not sure your point here. My point was that each codex that can take TA says that models in TA take 2 spaces in a transport. It's almost like the various authors all agreed, not that it matters much.
