It states he can use this VS any IC, right? Does this mean all Monstrous Creatures are exempt from becoming a squig? I was thnking of taking him in the Ard Boyz to be a small spoiler for things like the Night Bringer, but I'm thinking it won't work on him. Anyone?

Thnx

It will work on C'tan. MC's are immune to it unless they also have the IC rule.

No, only those of which dont have the IC rule as immune, so most MC can be victom of this lovely power

C'tan are not most MCs. Are there any MCs except the C'tan that are also ICs?

In one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 6", kill a few guys with his flamer, assault 6", kill two more guys with his bayonet, flee 12", regroup when assaulted, react 6", kill one more guy with his bayonet and then flee another 12".
So in one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 42" and kill more than 5 people. At the same time a Chimera at top speed on a road can move 18"...

Hive Tyrants I believe are both Monstrous Creature *and* Squigs Waiting To Happen.

Nope, Hive Tyrants are not ICs and can't be squigified.

Check the definition of Tyranid Monstrous Creature.

I'm 60% that they are IC's.

Since the 4th ed Tyranid codex Hive Tyrants are no longer Tyranid Monstrous Creatures but simply Monstrous Creatures following the normal rules.

In one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 6", kill a few guys with his flamer, assault 6", kill two more guys with his bayonet, flee 12", regroup when assaulted, react 6", kill one more guy with his bayonet and then flee another 12".

Check the deffinition. Done.

Follows all rules for the Monstrous Creature Unit Type. There is no such rule as a Tyranid Monstrous Creature. HT's and Carnifexes are not IC's.

Then I stand corrected.

Bums! Doing that to a Tyrant always appealed to me immensely.

Many thanks guys, I didn't read deep enough into the Nightbringer to see he was an IC, might just have to take him in the tourney on Saturday for some possible spoiler action!!!!!!!!!! One last question, what counts for line of sight with IC's? If they're with a unit, as long as you can see the IC, is that good enough, or does the IC have to be alone? I'm speaking of other armies and possble IC's they might have....

So, does this mean if he's locked in combat he can use the curse? Or is an IC is in CC can he still affect him if he's not in combat?

Thnx

Orks psychers must use a psychic power every turn. It doesn't matter if they are in combat or not. Zog can always choose to use the curse instead of a power.

So yes, he can use his curse power even if he or his target is in HTH.
