Ok this project should be short compared to the others as I have all the models for the 1,500 list and only need another monolith for the 2,000 list. Only one unit and destroyer needs painting, while the others need touch ups and a wash

I have done the three painted destroyers, d-lord and the wraiths and two warriors so far with badab black wash, boltgun metal under coat, gold chest symbol, green ribs with goblin green dry brush for a faint glow.

Here's what I have done so far and what I have to do. I did miss off a pic of the two monoliths, one is already sorted

Comments and feedback welcome.

Some biger rust will be great on big models.

And make bases. Some scorched earth with small rocks will be great IMO.

Thanks guys.

I wanted to keep them the generic colours, just metal alien warrors really. The badab black wash has helped making them darker.

Bakemono - I've put brown ink on the warriors only, I'd imagine higher ranking necrons such as lords would be looked after more.

I like the idea of the bases though. Will get the army finished and have a look.

Thanks fellas.

I think the rust look is rather cool and adds character. I'd go with it across the whole line. The subtle green chest glows are cool as well.

The Night Bringing is just plain swank. The shot is at an odd angle, and kind of fuzzier than the rest, but he make it work. If that keyboard wasn't in the background it would make for a very cool photo.

Without rust big models and lords look a little bit flat.

Just make them less rusted than warriors

Mine suggestion is to paint whole army once more with rust wash. In that way warriors will be more rusted and lords less rusted.

Looking good, I do have a suggestion on taking more pics though, try putting a piece of paper behind the models so that your camera focuses on the model and not whats behind. Since your models are on the darker side a cream piece may give better results than white due to less contrast.

Aduro - only the lords have no rust, but all have been washed with badab black.

I agree on the NB pic, it is a bit poor. Will get another one up

Bakemono - The army has brown ink already, then will be badab black, you can still see the rust nicely. Just the lords only and spyder which have no rust - but I'm not fussed on the spyder as I no longer use it.

Delemon - thanks for the tip, I will try and will probably get better pics.

Thanks guys.
