Well, the DA codex was written BC(: SM), and so doesn't have some of the cool toys that regular marines now get. So all the DA players are fudging their undies. NERD RAGE!!

Stubborn? At this point most of them should stop crying and just put their toy soldiers on the table but open the SM codex instead of the now craptastic DA one.

I play DA's and regular SM's.
I just want to see consistency across the board.
GW's recent FAQ has continued the insanity.

I play both Codecii with 2 separate armies. As soon as I knew there were new toys in the new SM codex, I new I'd have to suck it up and have different gear in the two armies. I got over it months ago, especially after Phil Kelly said there would be no update at GDLA.

Well, the real annoyance for me is that a whole lot of wargear now had different rules depending on what color you paint it...
Apparently, Ultramarines are about 8.3% skinnier than DA, BT, or BA Marines since 12 of them can fit into blue Drop Pods and Land Raiders while only 10 of the others can fit into their Green, Black, or Red ones (and we won't even get into Silver!).
Blue Storm Shields are way more effective than Green, Red, or Black ones.
Conversely, Blue Psychic Hoods are far weaker than their Green, Red and Black brethren.
I seriously don't mind that the Blues get Combat Tactics while the others don't. That makes perfect sense to me. What's just stupid is having the exact same wargear operate differently depending on what color it is. And what's even more stupid is going down that road when the claim has been that they're trying to "simplify" things for the gamers. But I guess Jervis' son has no problem with keeping his colors straight! Too bad he has such a problem with wargear though...
