Skulls for the skull throne:
Against non-vehicle models, skulltaker's close combat attacks are rending on rolls of 4+ instead of 6, and any of his rending wounds also inflict instant death (shop!).

as that has been worded am i right in thinking that he can inflict instant death on fex's? (out of synapse range)
or has it been given the usual screwed up wording?

i was thinking the later due to his low points cost.
if it is right then ill be taking him in a chariot

wording seems right to me. The enemy unit is losing his head vary few units and live after that. (Chop!)

Why wouldn't it cause instant death on a Carni out of Synapse? Instant Death is Instant Death whether its from a weapon whose strength is double the target's toughness, a force weapon, Skulltaker, etc.
