For an RTT tomorrow:

Sicarius

Command squad w/ Fist, Champ, Banner

Dreadnought w/ AC

10x Tactical w/ Melta, lascannon, Fist in Rhino
10x Tactical w/ Melta, lascannon, Fist in Rhino
10x Tactical w/ Melta, Missile, Fist in Rhino
10x Tactical w/ Melta, Missile, Fist in HB Razorback

Predator, AC & HBs
Predator, AC & HBs
Predator, AC & HBs

The basic idea is to outshoot choppy armies and out assault shooty armies. I have decent mobility, plenty of scoring units, enough long range fire power to keep enemy transports symied, decent countercharge, plenty of meltas for tough vehicles, and a fair amount of dakka for anti-horde work. The basic list is more or less set (I'm not going to add a terminator squad, for example), but I'm not sure how to optimize the command squad (or maybe replace it entirely), and I'm waffling about my squad based heavies. I'd take more razorbacks but they're not painted, and this is a scored paint event.

Any thoughts?

I'd drop the lascannons for Missle launchers, as missile launchers are more flexible than lascannons, and melta's are far better at killing av14 vehicles than lascannons.

I'd also drop the Predators for whirlwinds, as your tac squads can handle medium to heavy armor, so there isn't that much need for the str 7 AC. pieplates that ignore armor saves and are also AP5 will really cut down those big squads full of massed anti infantry fire that your tac squads fear, and str 5 ap 4 pielates will do well against just about anything not in cover.

however if this all needs to be painted by tomorrow... your choice is most likely fish.
