My WHFB group is constantly cycling from one campaign to another. The past six months it was Warhammer Warbands. Starting in November it will be 3000 point armies and the Mighty Empires tile set. You can read about the rules, and early thoughts on how I'm going to win this thing here:

Comments (and advice on putting together a great 3000 point army that can stand attrition) appreciated.

Liked the overview. The only suggestion I'd make is not throwing the race to the city. Instead, I'd suggest taking the city first, using a couple of Orc and DE shooty units to hold the walls and then launching a massive Chaos/VC sally out into the attacking lines. Except for a few Dwarven blocks, that should really disrupt their momentum in the mega battle and still take advantage of the evil sides strengths.

I actually considering using a Tomb Kings army this campaign, and use skellie archers and screaming skull catapults to defend the city, if given the option. A couple of years back I played against the TK constantly, and realized how effective they could be in that scenario.
