Not to derail the thread...
but i love that model! this is the first time i've seen it, I don't know how old it is...
But it's alot like this bit of art... it's a unused 10th edition lord of the pit art for MTG...

I converted my GUO after I saw this art... Might have to get me a obese, how big are they/scale?...

for me its the first obese or the possessed, though the possessed looks like it has more work put into it so i will vote for him

I just wanted to add a note that if some or many of the images look very dark, then use the brightness control on your monitor to make them brighter. My gaming monitor is much darker than my programming monitor and some of the images look very bad on the gaming machine until I up the brightness, so just thought I'd mention that in case people are staring at hard to see models.

For most terrifying I think the "Pink Gourmandise Obèse" gets my vote. (Eww Blue Nipples)

Although that Gobbo Cheerleader does give me the creeps...

For painting skillz and attention to detail (love the bogey) it has to be the ghoul for me, lovely stuff. A vote for the zombie in the mod comp too, nice, crisp style. Really excellent field though, very hard choices.

All very nice. I'm very upset because this is the first time I've been on Dakka in almost a fortnight.
My phone company took waaaay longer than they quoted to reconnect my ADSL to my new address, so I was unable to enter myself... I had plenty of time to finish my entry, obviously, with no interjig to distract me, but what's the point?

...although I probably don't stand a chance against some of those.
I went for the possessed for obvious reasons, but also the ghoul... I just loved the subtle paint job. A hint of dried blood on the rock might have been nice though. Also voted for gobbo cheerleader, for cheerfully distracting me from my own failure to enter.

"Hey, goblin cheerleader, you wanna go to a goblin movie or sumfin?"

Thank you everyone who voted for my miniature. I had such a good time painting this mini and I was very happy with the outcome. I think everyone who submitted did a good job and its always more fun to compete with accomplished painters. This is my first entry with Dakka and I look forward to their future challenges.
