Just for Kickstarter items!
EXTENDED TO MONDAY 29th of JULY!

We've extended our offer to get a Big 'Un Kickstarter monstrous infantry unit for FREE if you purchase any Kickstarter monstrous infantry unit from our webstore - it now ends at midnight (GMT) on Monday the 29th of July 2019!
Spite of Ýdron, Hydrar Unit

Spite of Ýdron, Hydrar Unit
Kickstarter items?

If you didn't know already, we've got lots of miniatures in the pipeline for our various Kickstarter projects that haven't been fulfilled yet. Lots of these Kickstarter miniatures have been produced and released, of course - over 600 of them, the last time we counted - but there's lots more to come, too, so we thought we'd give people the opportunity to pre-order said miniatures and get a great deal at the same time.

If you're a Kickstarter backer and have already purchased a monstrous infantry unit at its Kickstarter price, don't fret, either - we're extending this offer to you, too, as long as you make up the difference between their kickstarter price and their eventual retail price. What could be fairer?
There will be a delay!

Firstly, please bear in mind that you're asking to purchase Kickstarter items and so there will be a delay in sending them to you - they are not yet ready to be produced (simply because they're either not yet sculpted, not yet printed or not yet moulded)! As long as you understand that, please go ahead and order anything you want. Secondly, in most cases you're seeing artworks; the sculptor hasn't sculpted them yet, so you'll see what he has to work from. Even so, check out the name of the sculptor we're going to use, and you'll see that the miniatures are going to be amazing!
Read this before going any further:
https://mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=lpl

As well as that, you must understand that shipping is not free for Kickstarter items - you must purchase shipping if you haven't already got a Kickstarter shipment item, and if you haven't, our webstore will add one for you automatically.
How long will I have to wait?

It depends on the item itself; we aim to have everything from our projects sculpted by the end of 2020, and thus fulfilled by 2021, but many items will be fulfilled before that. What we're saying to you is this - be patient! We do always get there in the end.
Bronn's Brood, Cocwocor Unit

Bronn's Brood, Cocwocor Unit (two digital masters and one resin cast shown)
How do I choose the free monstrous infantry unit?

All you need to do is purchase a monstrous infantry unit from the list below, and when you go through the basket simply input which monstrous infantry unit from the list below you'd like for free in the "special instructions" box. Yes, that means you can grab existing monstrous infantry units, too!

If you've purchased any of these kickstarter items before, and want to take advantage of this offer, head into the Kickstarter sections of our webstore as normal and purchase the "RRP difference" of the item you want; then just add into the special instructions the free unit you're after. It couldn't be simpler!

The only qualification is that:

1: Your free monstrous infantry unit - and the one you're purchasing to choose that free unit - must be chosen from the list below
2: If you're purchasing an "RRP difference" item you can only choose another Kickstarter monstrous infantry unit for free
3: If you're purchasing a unit using Moneyback you can only choose another Kickstarter monstrous infantry unit for free
4: Your free choice's RRP must be cheaper than or equal in price to the RRP of the monstrous infantry unit you are purchasing

You can use this offer as many times as you like until it expires!

PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY VOUCHER CODES. Any orders using voucher codes will be rejected and refunded to your Moneyback. Tiered discounts do not apply this time around, either.
What's on offer?

Pretty much any 50mm, 60mm and 80mm monstrous infantry unit from our Kickstarter projects - including those in metal - is covered by this offer, with only non-Big 'Un units not a part of it. Even so, there's so many monstrous infantry units in our Kickstarter projects or that are out there already that that you're spoilt for choice!

You can even use this offer to purchase individual monstrous infantry warriors from within those units, or indeed, any monstrous infantry characters such as Uuroch (shown below)!
Uuroch, Scion of Conand

Uuroch, Scion of Conand

Your "Buy one Kickstarter monstrous infantry unit, get one Kickstarter monstrous infantry unit free" offer ends on Monday the 22nd of July 2019 at midnight (GMT), and you really do have some superb monstrous infantry units to spend your hard-earned cash on!

The offer will work on all the Kickstarter monstrous infantry units within our webstore, but here's a full list so it's nice and clear:

Please be patient!

Please bear in mind that promotions like this quickly strip the stock that we hold (if you're choosing existing miniatures), so we do ask that you remain patient while we sort your order out. We can never tell, really, which miniatures are popular from one promotion to the next!

Happy Ordering!

Note that your free choice is added to your order manually within 24 hours of your order being made; your confirmation e-mail and invoice will not include your choices. Check your My Orders page a day or so after you've made the order, to see your choices applied! All of the Kickstarter miniatures that are not in the Kickstarter categories will be removed from the webstore after this promotion ends.

If you purchase a kickstarter item and choose an existing item as your freebie (or vice versa) that existing item will be sent as normal.
No pics because lazy. I broke down and got the two upcoming Crushers, which I assume works because they said we could get invidividual members of units. Will report back if they reject my request.

EDIT: And I agree, this does feel like they need some money to keep these KS projects moving. Maybe they're also trying to prioritize somehow? Either way, I figured they could use my croc cash now and I was waiting to BOGO them anyway.

Interesting they specifically mention Uuroch, as I have him on order, and there hasn't been a sign of any work done on that one for 3 years...
My guess is they are prioritising the most popular KS items, so that things that maybe only attracted a few orders just keep getting pushed back.
I ordered some parts from them recently, Uuthil tentacles for my Cthulhu kickstarter mon that came with -lesser- tentacles.
I really want to see the big monstrous units that Bob sculpted over a year ago, the giant scorpion, turtle, and rhino beetle... actually printed!

I want to see all those ogre sculpts released! Plus the Warriors of Baalor.
I may not be able to grab a bunch of units but I'll probably put an order in for Uuroch as well. Always meant to get him as it is Gotta figure out what my freebie will be though... it's a hard decision!

EDIT- someone explain to my simpleton brain this whole RPP thing.

So I bought Angedern a few weeks back, and I've paid for a few of the individual ogres on offer. I want to get Ururoch. Do I need to put one of the already purchased models in the cart? Do I grab an RPP version of any of these guys?

I are confused.

That’s for people who got one for example in KS.
To claim their free one they have to pay RRP as opposed to the cheaper KS price they’ve currently paid.

So say it was £8 for something in KS, £10 on retail.
They get the free model and just are paying another £2, as they’ve already paid the £8 to get the first unit anyway back in the KS.

So if you’ve already bought stuff on the store etc that isn’t part of this.
I’m reading that’s what you’re asking?

And that’s how I read this offer to be working anyway..

Yes, that is how it works. For £90 and change I have another 5 units coming. And got a huge batch of KS stuff in the mail today as well (two Banbrecas and my crab people). Tomorrow should be fun.

I'm liking Tergoth!

Sadly dragon- ogre- demon- centaur type monsters have been completely spoiled for me due to Creature Caster's Drakon.

Given Tergoth's elephantine lower half, I'm hoping he's going to be as big as the mammoths!

Yeah, that creature caster one is amazingly cool! I always liked the 'not dragon ogres' Mierce did before as well. GW's dragon ogres have always been cool, but I absolutely HATE their shaggoth model. it's one of the worst sculpts they have IMO, and it's STILL AVAILABLE!...

I really doubt Tergoth will be 'mammoth-big', but more like his bottom half is Behema-sized.

Love the bogbeast design, happy for more of the shambling cuddle lumps. Tergoth is pretty great as well, echoes of Zoat, a long-time fascination of mine. Shattered, inverted cross for extra points

Mierce MiniaturesCreator

In terms of what's occurring right now:

Allan Carrasco - finishing new Bog Beasts

Bob Plociennik - now doing Duguth, and Duguth Eored; then he's doing the Leiptrolls / Hálftrolls (and maybe some bits inbetween)

Stéphane Camosseto - has begun work on the Reiver infantry, no images yet

Rafael Dioli - has done Grey-Fur, Vras-Chief

Valentin Zak - doing the Sleanagh and Sleanagh Aidan, no word from him for a while

Yannick Fusier - doing the Shieldwall / Two Club variants of the Ograx Reivers

Tim Prow - CHAINSAW CÆNA!!! (ltd edn for Salute next year)

Kurt Jakobi - drawing the Sávrakar

In terms of printing, moulding and casting:

Sreng is done

Gairmorlom are done

Holumenn / Holumenn Bowmen are printed, not yet moulded

Steinn / Steinn on Grundtroll (plus a separate monster Grundtroll) are printed, not yet moulded

New Agriosavra + beastie is next

After him are the Gorgorar / Gorgoraxo

After those are the monsters Athena, Kretos Beta, Wildeswin, Schyros, Selkilias, Scethæn

Now that Tim's got the mammox out of the way, he can concentrate on stuff; but bear in mind he will have to do the new Bog Beasts in the next month.

Oh and Aadolf (all variants), he's moulded and casting.

I just picked up a bunch of their miscast packs. I find I usually get my moneys worth, if not more.

I have been waiting on Rogue-Drune's for ages, and it doesn't look like they're in the waiting line to be sculpted, so I might need to write and see if I can get some credit and use that towards buying some of their nice new Ogres when they come out. They look absolutely fantastic, even if they are much larger than the GW variants. Holds that Rackham feel nicely.

Great news to read. I still have lots up on preorder, and with the recent sales have tons more. I love these miniatures.

As far as recast packs go, I have gotten insane value for my money...I once purchased a pair of miscast Infernii big bags and got four Krull torso/legs combos. They needed some work (and wings, heads, etc) but simply fantastic conversion material. Now each of my Legios has a Krull-like monstrosity to back them up. Some with wings, some ground-pounders, some...with different legs.

Now I just need to assemble the damn things...

Spoiler:

What's Next?

Bob will be finishing off the Duguth infantry and then he'll move on to the Duguth Ēored, which should look bloody awesome, as well as Culcca and Hedroc... although we may give Rafael Dioli Hedroc on his Hound-Horse. As for the rest... well, we'll probably get Bob to do it all!

Spoiler:

"What's Next

Stéphane Camosseto is finishing up the Great Axe Reivers (and after those it's the Shieldwall and Two Axe Reivers of course), and Rafael Dioli will be doing Shieldwall Grey-Fur. Next up for this project in terms of sculpts is probably a way in the future, so we're hesitant to predict, but Jason Hendricks will be doing the great weapon Brute-Beasts at some point in the near future. With Bob heavily into Savage Hordes III currently, he'll probably not drop onto this project again until later on this year, but we'll probably give him the Wulfas first..."

New unit of Lizard beasties coming in November. Nothing Aztec in these guys though. Basically the larger version of the Savaar.

Is it wrong that when I saw the Warchief's helmet I immediately thought. "Whoa, are there mini Triceratops coming?!" And knowing Darklands, are they humanoid?

Would love to see a version of the giant turtle with a war platform full of Savaar, and one of these bigger guys ordering them around.

Aww crap. That's really tempting. I just told my wife I was going to be good too. Dang it.

Plus Bob's sculpts have all been quite nice when it comes to reptile people.

I love stuffing Mierce stuff into KOW armies, and thankfully so do plenty of other KOW players Four (maybe seven depending on 3E) in the current Trident Realm I'm painting, three in Ogres eventually, etc.

But yea, even I can't find a home for all these animalmans

It's Leofwen Time Again for Darklands: Starter Hosts II - but it's also Annik Time too. You lucky people!

This week we have:
•sculpt work in progress updates from Jamie Phipps and Rafael Dioli;
•a link to the forums where you can see this project's fulfilment;
•a reminder that if you play Darklands, head to our forums to find more players!
•...and anything else you can expect from us over the next few months.

Here's some...

We have a number of miniatures to show this time, for the Anglecynn and the Ysians...

Let's start with Leofwen, who is - after a rather long drawn-out process - finished! Hurrah! We may as well show everything today, to remind people how awesome she is...

...and she is bloody awesome! But then, she is from Yorkshire.

So here's the great hart version of Leofwen with banner, which you haven't seen yet (well not in pose anyway).

She looks very regal in these poses!

So here's Warrior Leofwen on foot:

Seen before, but worth looking at again because she looks superb!

Here's Warrior Leofwen on Great Hart, charging madly towards the enemy!

The above is an unfinished version, but we love that shot! Here's the finished version from the other side:

Jamie's done a fantastic job here - we confidently predict she'll sell like the last hot cakes in the only hot cake shop at the end of the world!

Hunter Leofwen is a cool addition for sure!

Armed with a bow and that.

The Great Hart version of Hunter Leofwen is in a cool trotting pose...

...so you get three different poses of Great Hart!

Leofwen's done - hurrah!

We decided to give Annik to Rafael Dioli - who did the recent ratties - and he's done a superb job, we think. So much so that we'll be giving Rafael all of the Ysians and Vras that need to be sculpted in the future!

After much deliberation (well, about two minutes, which is a lot for us) we decided to keep her pose just like the original art, because that original art is so original. Or something.

There'll be more Anniks to come of course - Sickle-Annik, who's nekkid; Bow-Annik, who's got a bow; and then three horsey versions. She's going to look awesome!

What's Next?

Bob will be doing Cynemon, Birna and the Wælwulfas at some point soon. I'm very hopeful of bringing this project to a close later on this year (in terms of miniatures sculpted, anyway), but we'll see. The year is rapidly disappearing...

We've yet another update for Darklands: Savage Hordes III this week, thanks to Bob as always.

This week we have:
•sculpt work in progress updates from Bob Płociennik;
•a link to the forums where you can see this project's fulfilment;
•a reminder that if you play Darklands, head to our forums to find more players!
•...and anything else you can expect from us over the next few months.

Check out these here

So here's lots of Anglecynn!

As mentioned previously, Bob Płociennik has the task of making some lovely Anglecynn cavalry, the Duguth Ēored (DUG-uth EE-or-ed), and thanks to his amazing skills and the.... less than satisfactory size of the oldDuguth miniatures, we knew we'd have to resculpt the lot. Starting with the infantry.

The champion is named Osgar...

...the old version of Oscar, meaning divine spear.

The banner bearer is named Beornred...

...which means bear that is red.

The herald is called Kenelm...

...meaning fierce helmet. Read into that what you will...

The first warrior is called Widmund...

...or "war protection" or some such.

Now Cuthwulf is the second warrior...

...and his name means war wolf. Cuth is a variant of guth, you see...

The penultimate warrior has the name of Beor...

...which is, of course, bear, a bit like bear grylls, only less interested in hotels.

Kenric, here, is the last warrior of the unit...

...and his name means fierce ruler.

So now we're onto the Duguth cavalry!

What's Next?

Bob will move on to the Duguth Ēored, which should look bloody awesome, as well as Culcca. As for the rest... well, we'll probably get Bob to do it all - except for any Ysians, which will go to Rafael Dioli now...

Automatically Appended Next Post:
More finals than a cup, we've got Valentin the Zak to finish up this project! Hurrah!
•This week we have: sculpt work in progress updates from Valentin Zak;
•a reminder of the change to the way these updates work;
•...and anything else you can expect from us over the next few months.

Let's look at some...

We have eleven miniatures to show you for the Érainn, and they are the sum total of all the miniatures necessary to finish this project. So we're done and dusted, at least in terms of sculpts remaining. That surely means there is some kind of celebration in the offing...

The cracking miniature known as Aidan now has a spear and shield instead of a banner...

...but he's still got that reet big beard. Must be something in the water!

So here we have a lovely unit of Sleanagh, spearmen, although it's populated mostly by women. 5 to 2, in fact. Sign me up nurse!

The champion's a bloke though...

... and he's called Keóghan, Keegan if you like. We might get Valentin to pop a helmet on him, though.

The first lady is an angel called Aingeal...

...and yes, she's an angel. Except when you don't wipe the skirting boards down like she asked an hour ago.

Now Síne - pronounced Sheena - is a herald with a horn...

...and that's not the only thing she blows. Sometimes she has to blow up footballs for young Micky, like.

Conallan is the other (lucky) bloke in the unit...

...and although he's a pretty old dude, he's still got game.

"Bloody Nára!"

Said Jim. "Call that dinner? You can't cut steel on salad!"

Aignéis - like agnes - has no truck with truck drivers...

...lorry drivers, on the other hand, are her thing...

The alternate of the herald is Siobhan...

Pronounced Shǝ-vorn, of course.

The Fir Bholg Hurlers have now been converted into the Fir Bholg Throwers, and they look bloody ace!

Douglass is a happy chappie...

...'cos he's the champion, so he gets to order his mates about!

Feargie looks less happy;

but that's probably because he's so ugly. And he's hungry. A bad combination!

Gussie, though, takes a more philosophical view on life...

...he'll eat anything that moves, and try to eat everything else!

So these guys are finished, and that does indeed finish up this project sculpting-wise! There's still a ways to go in terms of getting everything moulded and cast, but we can tell you the Gairmorlom are being cast in resin right now,as is Brude of course, and the Shieldwall Oghurithne aren't far behind... so we are getting there!

continuing from yesterday

Well it's time for another update on the almost-complete project that is Darklands: Savage Hordes II. Just two units to go now, and they're both conversions of existing units, so we're talking traditional sculpts...

This week we have:
•sculpt work in progress updates from Stéphane Camosseto;
•a link to the forums where you can see this project's fulfilment;
•a reminder that if you play Darklands, head to our forums to find more players!
•...and anything else you can expect from us over the next few months.

Let's have a look at some...

The Fomoraic gain seven more dudes this time around, and all for the Reivers of the Eye...

These guys are conversions from the Reiver Hunters, of course, and Stéphane Camosseto has done a cracking job with them...

Champion:

Raabert...

Banner Bearer:

Aalun...

Herald:

Morgaana...

Warrior:

Paadrag...

Warrior:

Kaaron...

Warrior:

Naalun...

Warrior:

Gaana...

What's Next?

We've decided that Rafael Dioli will do the Rogue-Drunes - and so new Shadow-Drunes - and Yannick Fusier will definitely be doing the Walvax Netters, as we've sent him the harpoon guys to work on. Then this project is fully sculpted! Woot!

This week we have:
•sculpt work in progress updates from Stéphane Camosseto and Rafael Dioli;

•a reminder that if you play Darklands, head to our forums to find more players!
•...and anything else you can expect from us over the next few months.

Ready? We are!

We've eight miniatures to show this week, for the Fomoraic Reivers of the Eye and the Vras Three-Claw...

Stéphane Camosseto has come up trumps with the Great Axe Reivers, 'cos they're finished! You've not seen two of these, but we'll just reprise the rest...

Champion:

Raab...

Banner Bearer:

Aalek...

Herald:

Moraag...

Warrior:

Paad...

Warrior:

Kaalun...

Warrior:

Niaall...

Warrior:

Oraag...

Stéphane's also been hard at work on the Two Axe Reiver Unit, led by Baara... you've not seen any of these before, so bask in their hairy angry glory!

Champion:

Baara...

Banner Bearer:

Aal...

Herald:

Maadra...

Warrior:

Aadrac...

Warrior:

Kaarana...

Warrior:

Aalni...

Warrior:

Maadana...

So here's Grey-Fur, a lovely Vras-Chief for the Vras, with a spear and shield this time.

Done by Rafael Dioli in an awesome way!

What's Next

Next up for this project in terms of sculpts is probably a way in the future, so we're hesitant to predict, but Jason Hendricks will be doing the great weapon Brute-Beasts at some point in the near future. With Bob heavily into Savage Hordes III currently, he'll probably not drop onto this project again until later on this year, but we'll probably givehim the Wulfas first...

Whatever happened to the resculpted Warriors of Baalor? I kinda wanted some.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
