Hi all,

I recently thought abou making water bases for some of my miniatures using GW wter effects. I want some of em runnin through the water and it just looks boring and unnatural if the water isn't splashin to the sides or whatever. I want somethng along the lines of this,

, having a miniature standing in the little "circle" of water. But I just can't figure out how to do so...
If you got my point, do you have some ideas ?

Thanks in advance,
Capt. E.

The only thing I can think of would be to sculpt it out of GS and then paint it white/light blue. Splashed water doesn't appear clear like the picture you have posted when it is a big splash like a foot landing.

Somewhere in south-central England.

Acrylic gel media. There are various types available that give different amounts of stand or have textures, etc, They can be mixed together or with paints.

Check the Liquitex website for some info. There are several other manufacturers too.

These media are easily available in graphic art suppliers or by internet order.
