I'm going to start kitbashing some historical vehicles into IG and SM tanks. I want to pick kits which will roughly match the official vehicles for size. I don't know the dimensions of the standard GW tanks.

I would be most grateful if people who have those tanks would post the length, width and height in either cm or inches. It doesn't have to be precise, just the basic chassis and turret if it has one.

I'll try measure up my land raider abit later on.

However, I always find it easier to just guess, as in measure with your eye. Because although it may look right on paper, it can turn out different when it's actually a model.

Yes, you are quite right. However I have to compare unmade kits in a box with models I don't have of the GW tanks. I would feel better to have the actual dimensions.

Turret (Multi Laser)- 2 3/4 by 1 1/2 by 1/4

Leman Russ
Hull- 4 1/2 by 3 1/4 by 2
Turret- 4 by 1 1/2 by slightly less than a 1/2
