I set about starting a club! and i wanted to do a club army that will be the inspiration for newer members.so i decided on space marines! yes i know there common but there popular,so i used to B,C space marine painter to get a scheme and a commander design,but i hit a stump can a commander have a JUMP PACK,also the theme is ravenguardesque but with lots of tabards and medieval stuff.Also any ideas welcome and advice on the scheme i hope from this i can then start a blog with regular updates on the army and club.

Yer i dont think ill ever do ultra marines they look a bit cheesy but my friend did them in reagal blue and they looked awsome

Great colour scheme, also yes your commanders(both Chapter Masters and Captains) can take jump packs but...... niether the honour guards for Chapter Masters nor the command squad for Captains can take them (if you were considering doing so) but the captains command squad can use bikes if it helps (if the captain is on a bike, bike squadrons of five or more can be taken as troops)

they actually have a design on that SM painter that will allow you to paint it in quads like karl franz was suggesting. nice colors tho its odd but ive always had a soft spot for ketchup and mustard marines. good luck on your idea man

for medieval looks, buy a box of WFB chaos/bretonnian/empire troops for simple conversions.

the bike idea sounds pretty sweet but i would have to do jetbikes to keep with the theme,also ide like to thank you for the rules

remeber to tell some new players to stay away from marines some more eldar and dark eldar players wouldn't hurt.

im not going to tell them not to do something they want but i may edge some members towards certain armies to add varety.
