context: I'm making a very small Eldar army (500-800 pts). Their story: This small group, mostly on foot, are the last survivor of a war/crash/whatever. They have no large vehicule and they wander on this half savage world, fighting orks warband. Their once colorfull armour are now dirty, The only thing that still shine is their dignity and the hope to regroup with another eldar army.

I was thinking about building a small vehicule, about the size of a viper, carrying the survival gear for my warband.

Do any of you have an idear of what a small eldar transport could look like? What could I use???

I'd say starting w/ a Vyper might be a good option. Adding to it a flat bed type of space to carry the cargo if you were thinking open-topped. It'd be hard to pull off where it looked like some standard Eldar cargo bed. I'm thinking like a DE Raider but with only cargo space.

Given the fluff you've cited, you may want to make something that is sorta Orky looking since they would have had run-ins and likely would have little to no resources of their own.

yeah, i think you have made your own answer to the question. Just set up a viper into a baggage holder, maybe it was damaged in the crash and the main gun was destroyed. cover it with bags and ammo pouches, maybe hook a heavy weapons grav base to the back for extra cargo space...

Alternately, you could go the way of exodites: in their encounters with the local wildlife, they've found a creature large enough to serve their needs and have psychically domesticated it.

Find a dino model (the GW carnosaurus works nice but is a bit pricey, you might try some of the higher quality dinos or other critters out there) and use the vyper to armor it. Add a saddle, houda, or platform for the team to work from using bits from the vyper or other vehicles.

There's a few of these floating around. Augustus recently posted his exodites on a thread that included a few examples as well. Check it out.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

I don't think there ever was an official model for the Venom, I do remember that there are several tutorials around there to make them using a Vyper and Dark Eldar Raider.
