While playing a game a few weeks ago, one guy picked up one of my dead stormtroopers with a custom head from Pig Iron, and said that "Man...you almost have a NOD trooper here. Yah know, the ones from Red Alert?"

And thus began the NOD based army I'm cooking up now. Some parts I'm taking as my own, some I'm taking from the original RA game. As for their name, I'm calling them the 88th Harkoni Firehawks.

Regular Guardsmen are painted as clothes red ( I just love red :3 ), armor a dull silver, guns black. Veterans, weapon specialists, and officers + their retinue will be painted with red clothes and black armor with a dull gold trim.
Of course flamers will be Chem Troopers *muhahah*

Anyone have some ideas on how to hand craft or convert something into a Stealth Tank? I can't find decent enough pictures from the original design to really get my head around it.
Any other ideas for vehicles? If possible, include a picture for me.

Later today if I can get my webcam working, I can take a few pictures of the first few squads that I've completed.

** Does anyone have some advice on how to carefully remove regular guardsmen heads? I can cut them off easily enough, but it also takes out the back of the uniform neck with it, making any other head that I put on look rather odd.

I always thought that the heads on the Cadian sprue were separate from the body! *le shock*

As for the Stealth Tank, you need to try to get your hands on the old Space Marine Rhino and four of those FW Imperial Guard demolition vehicle (they look like mini tanks), those four vehicles become the tracks of the stealth tank while the old rhino hull becomes...well the hull.

Get an Necromunda Escher model and convert her into the Commando!

Well they are, but I need to cut off the one's I've already glued on XD

Hmm, that sucks! I don't know if the Cadians in their form as fitting for NOD though, perhaps Elysian models are more fitting (still need converting though), it's just that the Cadians look too blocky to be fitting NOD.

As for the design. Depends on the era of Nod your going for, and the type.

Common foot soldiers like from Renegade & Tib Sun? IG Guardsmen + Pig Iron....
Common troopers from CNC Tib&KW? Elysians + custom heads...
Black Hand? Converted DKoK bodies, with pig iron or custom head sculpts.

As for the paint scheme... Nod's paint scheme is the scheme of my ace-pilots, "The Scorpions", I just haven't had time or money to buy a group of Vultures and Thunderbolts to make them...

I think Epic Land Raiders would be too small for that.
