Recently the World of Warcraft miniatures game hit the market. Whilst at my local FLGS, I saw singles he had out for enticing purchases.. and one was called the Goblin Shredder. Looked VERY Orky (or Grotty), so I grabbed it and now have it at home, and rebased off the WOW base..

I am wondering how exactly to do this.. or if you folks even think it is possible. Here are some scale pictures..

It needs a couple of big shootas attached somewhere, otherwise I think it would work perfectly as a Deffdred.

I think the style doesn't really fit, too simple and clean, a coat of paint might help but I really think making it a bit more ramshackle looking will be necessary.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Oh, I know it is gonna get some heavy punch.. probably a Rokkit Launcha and a Big Shoota .. maybe double the shoota..

I just wanted to ask HOW to make it more Orky.. I am thinking of shaving off the Grot on top.. maybe removing the mouth spikes and shoulder spikes and adding plasticard to bulk it up.

My main worries are the hip joints and the interior of the shoulders.. those look .. weedy.

The idea is cool... it needs pistons and hydraulics and visible Orky working mechanisms along with some extra cobbled together armor and, like the others said, some Dakka. I think it'll look good all fixed up.

i think with a little work and paint itd be an easy deffdred. how much does that thing cost btw? anywho id say get some thin plasticard and just cover that thing. try your best to lose any smooth edges and the like with the plasticard. also gouge the card randomly to make it look like scrap and damage. AND it cant hurt having wires coming out everywhere and dangling.

Good find - as the others say, just plate it in plasticard, dakka, gubbinz and know-wots and call it orky.

A few holes from a pin-vice in a line to represent bullet holes. A few plasticard plates with rivits. Replace gremlin with an ork. Repaint it rusty. Boom! da pretty kann is rollin'!

The land of cotton.

Makes a perfectly acceptable stand it to me! While not tournament legal it does highlight the relative weediness of the Ork Dread buzzsaw and gives a number of modeling ideas for conversions and the like.

I'd pin a couple of Big Shootas on the shoulders or cockpit area, put a little battle damage and weathering on it, maybe a full repaint and call it done.

possibly somewhere on a planet in a bowl somewhere (london)

could look very cool with minimal work. i'd coer the joins between the arms mainly, with wires etc coming out.

i dont know wat you guys think, but i think the face on the chest area looks a bit wierd, maybe cover it up with green stuff or plasticard.
