I liked the eye on the wraith lord but I don't think it looks good on the wraith guard. I think it looks very out of place. But apart from that cool models.

"Model collector why are you wearing friday socks, its thursday today."
"We live in hope."

Very nice! To contrast model collector's opinion, I like the eye for the very fact that it looks in-place to me.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

I love this paint job/scheme, excellent work. The only criticism I can think of would be to drill out the gun barrels. Other than that I look forward to seeing hte rest of the army.

I really like the bone rather than the black with some bone.

And the gems look great too.

Interesting version of the Ulthwe scheme! Normally they are all black with some white, now they are bone with some black, good job!

have you ever seen a wraith cannon? maybe that's a lens at the end.

And I wouldn't worry about the gems on the vane thing; GW doesn't.

I think it looks good.

"And what is wrong with their life? What on earth is less reprehensible than the life of the Levovs?"
- American Pastoral, Philip Roth

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.

These look really nice. The bases are fantastic. Well modeled AND they contrast really well with the models.

I would have liked to see a tad more "Ulthwe" colors, in your own scheme if that is what you're doing (I haven't seen any other models from your army). As it is, there's a huge expanse of bone. A little unifying color to tie them in a little more to your army and to break up the monotony of the bone would go a long way, I think. Even a relatively small area, like the kneepads and shoulderpads would balance out the aesthetics.

Either way, a great job from top to bottom. Looking forward to seeing more of your army.

Different but solid paintjob and the colours work.

Those eyes are kind of creepy.

Love the color scheme though.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.
