So I wanted to start painting my Tyranids, I want to give them a shinny wet paint look on their armour plates.
I've tried using the GW gloss and it looks great until it drys and then you cant tell that it was ever on.

So, is their something out their that I could use to keep my Nids always looking like the have that wet paint look.
I thought about womens fingernail polish, I belive they have some gloss that gives you that wet paint look.

Am I on the right path or is their something better out their.....?

You could always just hit them with gloss coat. Another thing you could try is a layer of plain glaze medium

I like Vallejo Gloss Coat. I rarely want the entire model glossy, so their paint bottle of gloss lets me choose. There's only so many times you can say "yeah my models are in the rain, that's why their base is so wet looking too."
