This could defiantly work as a list.

I think it'll do alright as well against another casual list. If you haven't painted it yet I suggest converting enough oblits to have 9 total.

Once upon a time, I told myself it's better to be smart than lucky. Every day, the world proves me wrong a little more.

only thing i would suggest is splitting the obliterators up into one squad of 2 and a single one, allows you to either spread your firepower and hold one back for a deepstrike to take out any threatening tanks etc

When you give total control to a computer, it’s only a matter of time before it pulls a Skynet on you and you’re running for your life.

I would but then i will have 2 terminators left and my bitz box would be empty, i have changed the obliterators to two seperate squads, i will be using this list into i get enough cash for my Deathguard (few weeks), and they are all unpainted because i have only recently started painting, il put my first PM up on dakka, should make people laugh.

I think you will do "ok". Against players that do not know about Plague marines and how to deal with them... You will win hands down. However, Your list is slow... slow slow. Most 5th edition lists will run circles around you.

You need to get some marks in your Plague marine squads and Zerkers to drop the Termies where they are needed. No ONE LIKES ROLLING ON THE MISSHAP chart. With only combi meltas, you will have to deepstrike to make use of them.

Suggestions, add in a 2 rhinos at least. The rhinos can get your Icons into your opponents face and drop the termies where you need them. Also, Split you termies into squads of 4 to get more effectiveness. No reason to drop down and take a full barrage from anything and loss half of them, then run away. More units means more contesting ability as well.

I dont like power weapons on PM as their init sucks... Plague marines without a fist are really handicapped. A single dread or a Wraithlord will have a perfect target to eat in CC without a fist. I believe in only double flamers or double meltas in your PM squads. Just my opinion, but losing a 38Pt model to an over heating plasma sucks.

Without Lash on the prince... the oblits are not all that hot. Another defiler would work much better for your list IMO.

My .02

SO,

Plague marines X5 w/double flamer w/fist w/icon w/Rhino <------This is a scary unit.

It's not that easy to loose a Plague Marine to an overheating, but I do agree that meltaguns/flamers seems better, especially for aggressive play.

Speaking of the list, I'm not a big fan of lonely Obliterator, either find some points for another one or get rid of him. Rhinos are mandatory for this list.

well i could add him back to the 3 man squad but i can get more shots in with the 2 man, 1 man squads.

Sure, but he'll give an easy killpoint to your opponent. Also you can't be sure those 2 oblits will destroy their target. I've learned it the hard way, so to say. But if he works for you, good. I never really tried using obliterators in 1 model squads in some serious battles.
