BlackReach is nice for MORE BOYZ, a few Nobs and a unit of Koptas. Especially if you can swap the beakies for MORE BOYZ!

What about some fast attack? Bikes and buggies?

Are the MegaNobs going in the Wagon, or do they need another transport? A trukk would do the job, but might need a KFF or other protection.

I always write my list up first, and then buy the models, but I'm skint and don't want to buy stuff that's just gonna sit on the shelf.

my B-DAY is Dec 23 so its close and my gramie is taking me to GW any time while shes in America 5-6 weeks and she has not arrived yet.

Oh, for the days when Gran would take me to the shops for my birthday! I have to save up out of my meagre wages now :( And explain to the bank manager why all my outgoings say "GW" on them, while asking for more overdraft!
Luckily my landlord plays WH40k too, so he understands why the rent is late!

My best advice is to look through the Army Lists section and write up a list you would like to play.

Then you and Gramie can head to town, buy the models you need, stop for lunch while you drool over them, and Gramie tells you not to open the boxes before you get home, and wrap a couple of them up for Xmas.

With the foot-slogger horde you have now, I'd bolster it with either more Mek (kans, dredd, Big Mek) or KoS (trukks, wagons, buggies and bikes).

Two good choices:

Kommandoes... cheap points wise and infiltrate or outflank.
Lootas... shooty goodness.

This all depends on your style... you like to shoot em up... lootas. You want to get stuck in kommandoes. If you are trying to avoid metal, go with the a couple black reach sets instead of kommandoes. A nice warboss with a klaw and 5 basic nobz to boot in each.

i generally don't care as long as it goes with the flow with my soldiers for instance in your suggestion i would go for lootas because i have only a 20 man shoota squad and thats my only ranged infantry.

I'd try to get more shoota boyz. I see no drawback in the shoota the couple times I have fought Orks.

i'd say big mek with shock attack, weird boy, tank bustas, and trukks, big gunz, looted wagons with kill kanons (converted leman russ), ooo and definately bikes, also any of the new stuff coming out in january, i'd say black reach set if you can sell the marines to someone.

i have black templars so i would not be sellin any SM
