Hey guys, i just bought a Warriors of Chaos battalion, and am wondering, what would be the best mark to give the knights? Leaning towards Nurgle, but would like to know what you guys think.

It depends what you have against you. If you are going against shooty army I'd take MoTzeentch and Blasted standard.. If going against army of big blocks and lots of infantry I'd say go with khorne and boost the unit with exalted champ + juggernaut.. My unit of 5knights + juggernaut exalted went through 25 skaven stormvermins with bsb, and after that went through a block of clanrats...

I'm not sure if you really need MON as you are already tough, heavily armoured and when in combat can kill most things before they hit you.

MOK is nice if you have a way to avoid being led astray due to your frenzy (damned HE and WE eagles)

MOT, would only bother with blasted standard, however the brettonians I play against seem to pass a huge number of 6+ ward saves.

MOS... you already cause fear and terror now causes only fear, and if you are taking a panic test then something has very badly gone wrong...

I have read a lot of success stories from people taking Nurgle knights with the Banner of Rage.

Nurgle knights with the Banner of Rage is how I like to run one of my units. The other like to do is run with MoS and the Rapturous Standard as I will be able to hold up almost any unit in the game with that one.

Problem with marking too many units in a WOC army is that you run out of points to spend on support units.

MON with banner of rage would indeed be great for 1 'death star' type unit of knights with general or a hero in it to smash any unit you come up against.

Yea Gonads, i intend to run the knights with my Lord on a Juggernaut, so MON and Banner of Rage is prolly how i'm going to equip these guys. Thanks for the replies guys.

MOT knights with Blasted Standard is viable too... but I usually only field them if I'm facing a very shooty army like Empires, 4+ ward saves against ALL attacks made in the shooting phase is pretty nice

Nurgle, nurgle, nurgle, nurgle....

Why? Because the shooty stuff can't hit you, and you get to hit other people's elite combat units on 3's. And they hit you on 4's. Which is HUGE.

Weapon skill 5v5 down to 5v4 is a massive shift.
