Why not just run
2 warbosses on bikes

4 10 man nob biker squads (maybe 9 man for points but still)

14 kommandoes and snikrot

80ish shoota boyz for objectives and screen killing.

I think that could easily win your thoughts

I'm not going to bother with the math, but isn't that a massive army, points-wise?

What tournament would have a points limit that large?

the real question is, however, who the hell wants to collect 40 NOB bikers? Thats a lot of expensive forge world.

Just a possibe build I was considering not that I would actually go through with it but, I thought it would be cool to think of 40 Nob bikers where at 1750 there's 20 and people still get steam rolled.

That would be correct have'nt actually crunched any numbers for the list just an idea I had.

Is ardboyz 2500pts? if so, then your pretty close to your limit with just 4 mobs of 10 Nob Nikers + two biker warbosses. (That's if your taking PKs with the bosses and at least 3 PKs per nob biker squad (which you are! ) ) Factor in all your unique equipment for your wound allocation, and you might just have enough for 20 shootaz.

EDIT- I forgot to add the points for 4 painboyz - that would mean no shoota boys at all. - Just 42 models and only 2 scoring units.


Still, it'd be worth it for the look on your opponents face, when you're setting up and keep pulling nob bikers out of your case.

:/ I have that man nob bikers... i started making them back in 3rd ed... and yea... I still have them.

It's not like you actually have to buy the forgeworld models. Just throw down 40 bikes and call em nobs.

this is true... as long as they are the same. OR you could put in the effort and put nobs on bikes from the black reach set. Its not that hard to convert them.

I was thinking pointwise 4 7 man Nob units and 60ish shoota boyz and 14 kommandos and snikrot an 2 warbosses. That should be about 2500.
