I saw Throgg and had to indulge.
The dragon ogre shaggoth is really good in low point games.

do you have enough core? the hounds don't count, so i only see two...

besides, i have played a troll list at 500 points and believe me... you WANT another unit of trolls!

i would drop 3 of the dog packs... they are overpriced for what they will do...
i would also suggest upping them to 6 or 7 dogs... drop the scaly skin...

rolling on the eye of the gods can get crazy with all the saves the trolls end up having to make...
I like the unit size of 5

throgg is good, as long as you keep the trolls close for stupidity and rerolling break tests...
that can get crazy with overunning or charging out of range...

boy, i really don't know about the ogres... they haven't done anything in a game for me yet

if the dragon ogre models were better, I'd say they're a must have...
fits the fluff with a shaggoth better too

love the idea.. and it's possible to save some money making trolls by customizing the spawns from the chaos box set

I concur, the ogres aren't that great. I personally would just take more trolls if possible.

Yeah, i will admit that the hounds were filler because i couldnt think of anything else, and felt like i needed maneuverability The poisoned atks are good...the scaly skin is kind of lame.


The ogres are good as sheilds, but the trolls are better due to regen.

Thanks for the tip on saving money...could always use more of those
(i was going to be using OK bulls or Ironguts for my chaos ogres, depending on if i stuck with chaos armor or not)

Couldnt think of anything to put instead of the third unit of warhounds for the points.
Added a huge unit of trolls to act as an anvil, and have the king not be out in the open.
