I bought these off ebay, thinking they looked pretty cool. I also wanted to collect some "old school" chaos for the heck of it. Now I want to incorporate them into my Tzeentch army, but I'm having a hard time thinking of a cool way to convert them. They are metal minis, that being said, has anybody tried to biggerize metal figures before? I was thinking I could come up with some way to turn them into oblits...

i say leave them as is they look cool right now just a little bit more paint is need. If you want to make them bigger I suggest you grab some plastic termies and cut up the metal ones and mixe the parts together

DO. NOT. CONVERT. THOSE. they still work great(z) in space hulk. Paint and use in your army as they are. Somethings are not made to be modified.

Oblits could work well. Even if your not so skilled with greenstuff I'd say you could make them look like the modern style obliterators. Just need some bitz to beef up their weapons.

If you really wanted to convert them with out damaging them for future sale or what not, I would suggest adding some of the plastic loin cloth bits ( that you could add free had tzeench icons to and such ) or the metal ones from the current 1K sons. As well as adding the Tut-esk head pieces on the hood/top of the armor, or the tzeench banner bits from the newer chaos tac box sets. All that could be removed later if needed be. A bit of work to be sure but its a thought.
