So to compliment some of my custom heroclix based on city of heroes I am going to build some hellions gang members. As soon as I get a box of catchans I am going to start building them. In your own opinion would this combination work?
Catchan with clothing painted red and black with a word bearer symbol on the back or arms with some modern day weapons and a green stuffed face mask?

Depends on which Hellion you're going for.

For the most part, I think that Catachans would work pretty well, if you painted the vest (assuming that the model in question has one) black and the pants red, and as you said, GS them a mask. For the most part, though, I think that the Hellion symbols should be painted on the back of the vest (though this would be difficult).
