Na, not to cheesy really, the lootas might cause some issues for some people because of the extreme range but other than that you can get the weapons to kill everything there pretty easily.

1st of all nibody cares if you can say oh that list isn't cheesy make a list that's cheesier.
2nd It's 1000 points
3rd The rules are as followed I made a list you come up with a 1k point list that can beat it. Next guy makes a list that can beat yours. Repeat until we find a list that no one can beat.
4th I don't mean to thread jack but, I do think you should have been clear on the rules if you wanted to do this again. If I got anything wrong please feel free to correct me.

Crisis teams knock out the kans staying hidden with jsj tactics, hammerheads are nearly invincible as they can only be glanced by the lootas (maybe penetrated by the SAG but bs2 means it scatters like a mofo) which they will set about blowing away with templates first thing anyways once the lootas and kans are off the table mop up the boyz with the hammerheads and fish of furying with the firewarriors who have burst cannon support from the crisis teams with attached dakkatastic shas' el. everything on my side of the table moves 12" making an assault very unlikely

Word to that, the opening thread for us occasional viewers when we get the time said nothing. It said make a cheesy List. The Nid one is a stock standard Nid Zilla variant, nothing too original in it to be honest. The 480 pts of stealers for 24 stealers turns youa round to laugh at the fact in objective missions the enemy needs to focus on taking the 3 units of stealers out and saving just one of theirs from the devourers/ MC and he/she is set.
Thankyou yermom for clearing up the rules, if the thread starter could edit them in NO ONE will be confused!

rule no.1 its a 1000pts list from any current used book
rule no.2 must follow organisation chart
rule no.3 please try to create the list without the other lists in mind try and base it on basic lists from all the codexes.
hope this clears up some problems

Eh, lemme go home and crunch the numbers, but I think you can fit one full Biker Nob squad in 1000 pts, maybe even two.
EDIT:
I'd also like to point out, for all the newbs, this competition is highly subjective. The winner is based on what orkyboss3000 thinks is the cheesiest, not what actually may be the most awful. Last time around this was a complete farce as he ruled that some weird marine list was more powerful than a tyranid MC spam list at the height of 4th edition.
Actually, after re-reading the first post, apparently he's going to have a poll on what list should win. That should be a tad more..."fair".
