I'll do a what pieces are what over the weekend, but this is made from:

A GI joe jeep wheels
2 tubes from a very cheap (and useless) craft knife kit
bits and pieces from a Republic Star Destroyer (£2.50 down from £20 at woolies, lucky find- sympathies to woolies staff)
Bits of street trash (the Black back seat, the under tubes on the front wheel arch
a triangular food blender blade
Big gun off some huge transformer style tank.

The green stuff is milliput 'rope' I didn't meld properly and his still damp. Meh, I'll have to start again or use curtain wire or something.

have a couple of pics for the idea for the sail.





Will do close ups when I work out how to get my new camera to focus on small things.

made the sails, waiting for glue to dry. Used gold card and gone for two sails and one 'solar' sail. Pics to follow.

Eyes of the Hook and Eye arrangement. Decided that this was better than a permanent fix because:

A ) easier to transport
b ) easier to 'adapt'
c ) I'd ran out of superglue and the stores were distant.



Front gun came in the post and is now on. Buggered up the front placing (shortness of glue not helping) but it can be hid in the wonder that is 'weathering'



The first sails. Will attach and photo when the clay dries. Next sails will have metal wire or catgut or something for speed.

Not trying to sound too critical, but the scale of the toy quad and tractor is not in scale with the models. Also, they lack detail, and well, are too easily recognizable as toys.

The land sailor isn't too bad, but the gun on the front(the black one) looks like a WWII howitzer. Not to mention guns of that size would probably throw a vehicle that light weight completely out of whack from the recoil.

I do like the idea of the sail mobile though. pretty rad.

Hmm, yes. hoping the toyness will disappear with some weathering and maybe some bitz. Yeah, need to do something with that quad bike seat and climb on rack. Make the back of it into a container and def add a booster seat.

Big guns are cool! But yeah maybe. Will put a similar scale weapon as the front one on, but a different style. Time for scratchbuilding I think.

Backwards and forwards.

The hook and eye sail connection didn't work out. Probably because of carelessness, fragile glue bonds and heavy sails. Also I must be more patient and wait until I get super glue/plastic cement rather than ploughing on with 'no more glue'.. which gets everywhere.

I did take pictures of my new Idea, but I brought the wrong portable drive out with me, so tomorrow for them.

I've also trimmed the big black gun to a more reasonable size which has given me a nice big barrel for something else.

On an unrelated note of happiness, dried superglue makes lovely ice.

Pics of new sails. Will perma attach them (they'll just have to be housebound/packed really carefully. Must remember to fill those gaps and paint first. And sand the glue off.

May put some smaller triangular sails on for effect.

Glue's a mess, I know. Superglue doing its usual trick of 'This one I'm going to do suspiciously easily, just so that with this identical pair of items, I can make you cry with frustration.




Also trimmed the gun to make more reasonable size wise.

The dust is from my new multi-tool, I'm new to diy and forgot that dust/sawdust goes everywhere!



The top, because it's hard to photo all of the model at once without losing detail.



Lucifer Illumination Vehicle, coming along, Camoued up, needs finishing touches to paint and then a suitable night time diorama made.

A Object Marker - crashed ship with injured crewman. Just needs painting up and a sling to be made.

Er, dunno. The shop I got the bits out of had a dune buggy, jeep (providing the wheels to the yacht), transporter (will be seen shortly) and tank (bottom half of the Lucifer).

They had a windsurfer toy and IIRC they made a sand sail in one of the cartoons.

I'm seeing Opera Singer. WH40k was made for Opera.

Finally finished (may stick men on it, may stick decals on sails).
