I don't like the new daemonette models at all, and don't want to spend lots of time on ebay tracking down the old metal ones, so I've begun trying to think of what could work for fill in daemonettes...
First idea was to use dryads, but then began to wonder how to make seekers... hmm

Saw this next....

there's some beastmen parts, but I can't figure out what the legs are at all....
Now I'm leaning with using dryads again, but I really want to include seekers....

any help appreciated!

Dunno , i thought people field daemonetttes for the sexy factor.
if the beastman is sexy, then by all means its fine. just name then incubus or something

i like the dryad idea though, any examples?

Man, that's the joy of Anime! To revel in the complete and utter wastefullness of making an unstoppable nuclear-powered combat andriod in the shape of a cute little girl, who has the ability to fall in love and wears an enormous bow in her hair.

I personally use a mixture of old and new daemonettes, as well as dyrads. dyrads look great with the right paintjob.

The whole world's a stage, you're either an actor or a prop; it's up to you which one.

the old 4th ed daemonettes were the best.

hmm... just a random though. I havent actually looked at the models to see if it could be done, so forgive me if this is a pants idea, but could you do something w/ DE wyches? theyre female.... I can see them being easily convertable w/ tyranid bits for the claws...

I dunno... just the first thing that popped into my head

alright.. think I'm going to go with dryads. They look somewhat feminie, yet have a more daemonic look that I want to achieve that I don't think the beastmen or wyches really have.

Mabey for seekers, I could cut the legs off and make some sort of pseudo-snake tail out of wire and left over back branches?

There was an interesting post on news and rumors a while back about an alternative mounted daemonette, which was cool. I don't know where it was from though.

Ah, here it is.

EDIT: I like editing.

"This is TOO expensive." "I'm going TO the store, TO get some stuff."
"That is THEIR stuff." "THEY'RE crappy converters."
"I put it over THERE." "I'll go to the store THEN."
"He knows better THAN that." "This is NEW." "Most players KNEW that."

That model is that it looks a bit too much like a Slaanesh marked beastman than a daemonette for my tastes. But, personal preference put aside, I think it looks like an acceptable 'counts-as' model. I mean, Slaanesh is supposed to appeal both ways, right?

Then again, I think that the new plastic models are nice because they're a nice return to the first edition models.
