Hey all.

I have yet another idea for an army. Inspired by Gears of War, and currently painting a bunch of ogre kingdoms, I thought it would be cool to have ironguts and leadbelchers mixed to make obliterators. Not only would it be fun to paint, I would be able to do the Boomer "BOOOMM" every time they fired

I also can do demon princes easily, OK heros with turbine jetpacks.

My problem is figuring out what to do for troops. Im thinking either plague marines to represent toughness, or vanilla CSM. I dont know how to model them either. I would like to stay away from actually representing power armor. I wish there was some sort of smaller Ogre that would fit on a small base. I thought about Ork bodies with a different head, either OK or human depending on which fit better. That would be the easiest route for modelling because raptors could simply be the new stormboys as a base.

Anyone got any better ideas?

Thanks!

Putting chain swords on the end of every gun will let everyone immediately know that it's inspired by Gears of War.
