so in the book it says that the ward saves can be combined. Is it possible to take the armor of Morrslieb, the mark of Tzeentch and a Talisman of Protection for a 2+ Ward Save?

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

"ward saves can be combined"

Not following. Please explain. Page numbers would be good. I don't know of any rule that allows you to combine two different ward saves. The mark of Tzeentch can improve a ward save, but unless a rule specifies that an item can improve a pre-existing ward save, you can't make a ward save better.

You can give multiple ward saves to a model. But you can only take the highest one against a wound. You can't combine them (as far as I know).

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias

The ward from the Mark may be combined/added to another Ward Save. It does not, however, let you combine Wards from multiple non-Mark sources together in one giant uber-Ward save.

You know you're really doing something when you can make strangers hate you over the Internet. - Mauleed

As was implied earlier this item combination would give a a 3+ ward vs non-magical attacks or a 5+ ward vs magical attacks.
