The idea is to have a static firebase while the mobile elements will try to to contest the objectives. The Farseer will babysitting the Wraithlord ("guiding it"...or maybe Fortune...) near the Scorpions and Guardians. I'm not a big fan o Jetbikes (I think they are a bit fragile...) so I'm considering to drop them for a 2nd Doomseer or an Autarch.

What do you think?

At this point, I think you farseer is a bit of a waste. Right now you are guiding 2 BS 4 shots a round and that really isn't all that useful for the 100ish points you are spending on it. If you are really that worried about the 1 in 6 chance of your dreadnaught standing around and doing nothing, why not just put a warlock in your guardian squad and keep them near eachother. Give the warlock embolden and keep the guardians in cover and they'll last a good long while protecting your back field. Not a whole lot of enemy units are going to go after guardians while your dreadnaught is standing right there. If you do go this route (scrounging up the points by dropping the bikes most likely), you can then swap out guide for doom on your farseer and put him in one of the serpents of dire avengers. You'll probably also have the points to fill out the avenger squads too up to 10 men. That or you can fill out the scorpion squad, whichever you prefer (or have the models for). The only down side of all this is that it means you end up being a bit short on troops.

Threads should be like skirts: long enough to cover what's important but short enough to keep it interesting.

Give the Farseer doom and stick him in with the DAs (you can Doom inside the Wave Serpent). Then buy a warlock with embolden and stick it in a guardian squad to baby sit the wraithlord. Also I'm not a huge fan of Scorpions but if they Work for you then keep them, Otherwise make 2 units of 3 guardian jet bikes and increase the DAs to 10 man squads. (why have bladestorm in a non-max unit)

So it was my list I would

-guide
+Doom
- S. Scorp
+ 2 Guardian jetbikes split into squads +Shuriken Cannon
+ 4 DAs
+ Warlock with emobolden

I am not going to do the math but that should leave you with around 100pts left. It Might be just enough to squeeze in a unit of 5 warp spiders or something of the sort.

I like the farseer with the banshees.. otherwise banshees can get bogged down b high T creatures & especailly AV12 walkers.

Do you wanna outflank that wave serpent? Otherwise take out shadowstrike.

Make more use of those dragons - get an exarch in there with the flamer & tank-hunter ability. Allows you to do some decent anti-tank vs AV14 annd to multi-task into infantry death-dealing.

Ok.

So, drop Guide for Doom.

I don't have more than 4 jetbikes. I can maximize the DA and Scorpions... but that is that! No Banshees!...I have a full squad of Harlies, though.

Warlock and Emboldem seem a "cheap" way to babysit the WL...or I can simply.... don't care!...

What about the SS and HF....I've read somewhere that they are not so good with the current edition. Do they worth the cost. I mean...with the extra points i can maximize DA and Scorpions!

Cheap is a guardain squad with a warlock. You can capture an objective at the same time as babysitting.

Really really cheap is a 3man guardain jetbike squad with a warlock.

Same problem... no jetbikes or warlock jetbike!

Not quite sure what you are talking about here. If you could use fewer abreviations it would be much more clear.

Sorry!

What about the Spirit Stones and Holo-Fields ....I've read somewhere that they are not so good with the current edition. Do they worth the cost. I mean...with the extra points i can maximize Dire Avengers and Striking Scorpions!

...Or simply drop the Scorpions for some Banshees in a Wave Serpent ...(eventually!)
