OK, so I thought maybe a 400 point traitorous trenchguard aukiliary force (TTAF) would be a good idea as a standalone combat patrol army or as an allied force for my 1K sons, so to do this, I would use the following recipe: Imperial Guard Cadian torso and gun arms High Elf Archer robes Pig Iron Kolony Rebel Winter heads The idea for the HE robes came from my local GW, where a guy had done a sizeable army like this (with no less than FOUR superheavies) except without the PI heads, For anyone who doesn't know what the heads in question are like, look http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/order.htm#m I'm also considering using the HQ pack as my command squad, also the packs and pouches would be good as fluffwise they would range ahead of the main force, building rudimentary trenches and barricades. The colour scheme would be German-style grey with some blue to keep the 1K sons theme (Unfortunately, the scheme described in my sig is too Khornate) So what do you think?

I've been pondering something similar lately, so I look forward to seeing how it goes. Something that I noticed recently in ph34r's thread here ( http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/226992.page) is the greenstuff cuffs on the coats. That looks incredible effective to me, and simple to boot. Can't wait to see some test models.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack |

i like it
i'm currently ripping apart my unpainted plastic cadians & utting those heads & some from MaxiMini ( http://www.maxmini.eu/store/index.php) to create a Vraks army that can also count as an IG army teetering on the brink.
The main colour will be ochre (using Iyanden Darksun) with red hoods (using Mechrite Red) & shaded with Develan Mud. Should be quick & easy (famous last words)!

You mean DKOK? Death Korp of Krieg. Or are you deliberately trying to make a new thing?
Frankly once my brother leaves for college I am going to place and order for 3 squads of Pig Iron Infantry and a HQ. Maybe a tank or 3.
