I am fairly sure I know the answer on this already, but I'd figure I would ask you guys and get your opinion on it as well.

Lets say you have a squadron of two vehicles. If one of them becomes immobilized then per the rules, said vehicle is destroyed. However, lets say that both vehicles become immobilized at the same time as there seems to be no rule specifically stating that damage rules are to be rolled separately for each vehicle. Basically there are three outcomes as followed:

A) Neither vehicle can move so neither are destroyed and are both just treated as immobilized for the rest of the game.

B) As per the rules, they are both destroyed at the same time, therefore leaving no vehicles.

C) One vehicle is destroyed, and the other remains with an immobilized effect.

Let me know what you think!

The rules say:
page 64 wrote:treat all immobilised results as
destroyed (wrecked) and all stunned results as shaken.
If a squadron consists of a single vehicle when an
enemy unit fires at it
, it reverts to the normal rules for
vehicle damage results.

Clearly the squadron did not consist of a single vehicle when the enemy unit fired so both vehicles are destoyed.

Edit: One may find it more logical that both would instead be immobilised though and that would make a fine house rule.

In one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 6", kill a few guys with his flamer, assault 6", kill two more guys with his bayonet, flee 12", regroup when assaulted, react 6", kill one more guy with his bayonet and then flee another 12".
So in one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 42" and kill more than 5 people. At the same time a Chimera at top speed on a road can move 18"...

Actually, that little bit sums it up quite well, and makes my originally assumption wrong.

Thanks

I voted 1 and 1, dunno if it is RAW but it feels right.

RAW would seem to support that both are destroyed.

I also voted 1-1, but I think RAW may support both destroyed more.

I said both were destroyed because of what Webbe pointed out. I don't like it but its the rules so what can you do besides make a house rule.

I use two squads of Warwalkers, I hate that rule, and I voted they are both destroyed. Shooting is simultaneous so damage should be as well.
