I'm thinking about starting a Cult of Slaanesh army, but I need something to represent 'Devoted of Slaanesh' models. I was thinking something along the line of robed cultists and such, but I can't find any models that seem to fit that description.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any minis I could use? I just need robed people, lol... preferably including both male and female, but who's being picky...?

I was a kid now AND a squid now before it was cool.

The new Empire flagellents come with a few robes and hoods, and weird religion thingys. They look suitibly Chaotic too, chuck in the long tounge head from Chaos mutation sprue and you're there, that's what i did, love kitbashing stuff to chaos

Would sisters of repentia work? Not robed but definately suit the cult look , just paint it in slanesh color , file off the inquisition markings.

Why not? They're naked enough, and they probably want to turn to chaos anyway

Pretty generic robed cultist there, might have to repaint him a bit (yeah, he comes painted like that)

Look! A Daemonette!

I would seriously just consider GSing some robes onto some existing models (robes are seriously the easiest thing to model, even someone who's never picked up greenstuff before could probably do at least a decent job).

I'd probably say that Chaos Marauders from WHFB would work well if you just gave them robes that went waist down, and possibly some different heads (As nothing screams Slaanesh like bare chests strapped with leather). Possibly pick up a box or two of Chaos Spawn to make them look suitably chaotic, and give them chainswords and bolt pistols, and I think it would look pretty damn good.

Sisters Repinta seems like a really good idea, but ironically i think anything Witchhunters/Daemonhunters Inquisitor Retinue looks rather cult and Chaotic...

HERESY!

Night goblins?

Just pretend they're paint their skin peach instead of green and no one will even notice.

They're cheap!

Buy a few BfSP sets and you can use the dwarfs as noise marines (lots of armor).

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

Standing right behind you...

You need to model them so that one goblin stands on the others shoulders so that they're the right height.

Goblins would make cool little slave/familar things, just give them a different head and they're a little hunchback midget follower of Slaanesh.

Speaking of Night Goblins, who else hates the new models???!!!

A lot depends on how crazy you want them to be.

Plague monks are pretty cheap but need head swaps

Empire Flaggellents are fantastic but no women among them.

Dark Elfs, High Elfs and Wood Elfs have women and wear long cloaks or armor

I LIKE the old 'stealer cult figs...

Does it have to be a GW figure? Bob Murch's Pulp Figures line has a great set of hooded and cowled cultists.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil
