Whats the best?

im flip flopping on my army list currently, though the one constant is terminators and a land raider. My newest flip or flop is to try a deathwing list.

Giving the 5th edition rules on moving and shooting, not thinking on troops capacity, whats going to get it done better?

As the DA dont have access to the redeemer (i think) the LRC can move 6" and fire every weapon with the help of the machine spirit.

The good ol' regular LR can move 6" and only fire two of 3 weapons. Though it has more punch.

A redeemer, for the fair comparison, would end up the same as the standard.

Most players seem to prefer the Land Raider Crusader over the other variants (for transporting assault troops that is).
As you already said, a Crusader can move 6" and fire everything, which is pretty nice. The extra transport capacity is another bonus (obviously).
The Redeemer has difficulty in getting the most out of the awesome Template weapons it is equipped with, which is why more people seem to take the Crusader.
The standard Land Raider is usually taken in a backfield role, where it can keep small scoring units safe inside, while giving long range anti-tank support to the rest of the army.

About your Deathwing thoughts, I feel that the new Storm Shields are just too good not to take. Even though the Deathwing Terminators will be scoring units, I feel that you can create a stronger army using the Codex: Space Marines. The Storm Shields have a big role in this of course, but Vulkan is another thing which gives the regular Space Marines an edge. Master-crafted Thunder Hammers on 2+/3+ Terminators are just great.

The Dark Angels FAQ said that you can use new units that aren't included in the DA codex with DA if you want. It pretty much said do what you want with them, IIRC, so you could probably put storm shields on Deathwing termies if you want.

You can't beat the crusader. The reason is that it can move 12 and fire it's sponsoon weapons. That is something no other landraider can do. So this means that you are not paying for las cannons (or whatever the side mount weapons are) that you can't use at the same time as your transport capacity. And on top of it all, you can also use the machine spirit to fire your top mount weapon. All in all, its the best version of the land raider.

Threads should be like skirts: long enough to cover what's important but short enough to keep it interesting.

That's some dangerous advice. It said it was ok if your opponent was cool with it and it specifically mentioned units, not wargear. Want to take a LR Redeemer against your bud, probably fine. Want to use the storm shield rules from C: SM instead of C: DA, not so cool.

So don't expect it to fly if you are playing someone you don't know and don't expect to EVER be able to take the upgraded Storm Shields (at least not for a few more years till the DA codex gets updated).

Why you cant use the lasercannons of the standard lr when you have moved 12 inch?
I only have played the lr and lr-redeemer by now. The maindisadvantage of the lrc (thought I) is that the bolters are only good at near range.

You can move 12", and fire one LasC. Not that good.

And I diasgree on the LRC. It's not just short range rapid-firing death, but it has effective 30" range with an Assault cannon and 6 bolters. Not shabby. Not game breaking, but it can help. For its purpose, which is troop transport, it's the best, with no exceptions.

The LRC is disgusting in 5th. There's so much synergy and efficiency wrapped up in one vehicle. TL assault cannons are no joke, either.

Yeah I would go with the LRC the fact is that you can get off so many shots and while they are only bolter shots they can still take down most things.
