In a recent game, I got really lucky. Or my Junior Officer did. After his whole squad was eliminated, he came screaming out of cover, armed with a plasma pistol and power fist, to shoot one assault marine to death, and then pound 2 more into the ground. Scurrying behind a building, he was forgotten about until 3 tactical marines passed by. Roaring a battle cry, he ran out of the building and did the same thing. Though, without any cover to run back into, he was cut down by a fusillade of bolter rounds. I marked his base and put him up after the game, all sorts of ideas going around with me and the space marine player. What does Dakka think I should do with this brave little man?

The ork in me screams "Pile of helmets!" but he's a guardsman, not a greenskin. So pile of heads is out, and since they're both sorta "good" guys, I'd go subtle.

Take a purity seal, rough up the ribbon a bit, make it dirty, and slap it on his lapel.

Nah, has to be a little more epic than a little purity seal. My Guardsmen are more ork-like in behavior than one would expect.

He should get promoted after that performance. Make him a commander with a bolter (or stormbolter) as a prize for killing the space marines.

Cloak, and put kill markings on it.
