Finally finished with the modeling portion of my plague tower. I primed it up so I can use it in an Apoc game this weekend.

Hope you like it.

Fantastic, can't wait to see it painted.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

Those guns look too big, like they scavenged some starship weapons. Nice job, but in my opinion it deserves a more robust set of stats.

For christ's sake man, put a few flower pots out or something. You need something to break up all that grass.

Nice model though.

Wow, lots of quick replies.

Thanks so far, it's not really done yet. I am planning on adding a little more "nurglishness" to it. Just needed to get it in playable condition for the apoc game.

After the game, if it survives the handling, i plan to work on it some more.

and about the grass,

at least it's winter time here and I don't have to mow it!!!!!!

Oh, here and there.

Okay, first off: the model. Looks great. I can't wait to see it done, or your other stuff for that matter.

Secondly, good to see another Browncoat on these boards.

Keep it up, we wanna see more!

It is extremly impressive, but i think it looks more like a nurgle deamon-possesed siege gun. And isn't it supposed to have space to transport? Still great.

This is an excellent scratch-build. This really is well-executed. It's not much of a 'tower' at all, but the work put in is top-notch.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

That's pretty damned cool. I agree that the guns barrels are far too big, but for the representation of the Nurgle symbol it fits perfectly.

The barrels are fine. Have you ever seen the Epic 40k Plague Tower? The barrels are HUGE on that thing. Remember, this isn't just a building with guns. This is an IMMENSE demonically possesed war machine. This is a Titan-sized war engine, not a Russ variant or even a Baneblade.

thanks again for all the kind words guys. I'll be putting it on the battlefield tomorrow for the Apoc game.

I'll post back again and let you all know how it performed.

I do want to mention that I am by no means finished with it. I just got it in playable condition to be a worthy proxy for my friends to try and destroy.

There will be much more green stuff and "decorations" to be added.

And I will attempt to put together a parts list of what I used to build it.

Thanks again

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

You should be able to derive an idea of the scale from the dozer-blades tacked on the front.

Yeah, i know. I just think it looks cool with a pic where you can see an actual CSM or a guardsman or something

I think it'd look better if the Demolisher barrels had a touch more thickness on the walls. Guns of that caliber need to be beefy in order not to fragment when fired.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Holy awesome! That thing looks super badass and killy. Nice take on the tower man, I really dig that.
And you can see CSM inside the front cockpit, so Im sure you can get an idea of the size

Back from the Apoc game.

The tower survived nicely. Dealt out a pretty bone-chilling amount of damage.

When all was said and done, she had all her guns, some drive damage and 2 structure points left.

Destruction won the day.

Promise I'll post some more pics when I get around to adding more.

Thanks again for the kind replies.
