What are the sizes for the flamer and blast templates in Necromunda?

Are they the same as the other 40k templates? Or smaller?

Flamers / Hand flamers - same template? Or smaller for hand flamer?

For the latest version of Necromunda (ie. the living rulebook) the templates are all the same as 40k (flamer, 1.5 inch radius, 2.5 inch radius)

The hand flamer in the latest version of necromunda uses the standard flamer template - the same as the 40k one - something that has caused controversy, as it makes the hand flamer too good.
In the original Necromunda the hand flamer template was indeed smaller.

It is up to you what rules you use regarding the flamer template, as long as you discuss it with the people you play with.

I omit the hand flamer entirely, however some people just make it strength 3 or something.

The hand flamer is indeed crazy good. We´ve been using it in our games, but have been discussing not allowing juves to carry them.
They are one-shot guns though, so that limits them somewhat.

If you choose to play the original Necromunda rules, then you get a mini-flamer template for the hand flamer (2" long), and also a 1" template for the Shotgun Scatter shells, and Frag grenades and Missiles (and some other types of grenade) used a 2" Blast radius. All good fun :]
