Im new to the forums..well my account is I have been reading for a long time now.

So I thought I would join and post some mini pics to get some feedback.

Nice falcon you have there , ( im scared to paint mine lol , the large broad curves are intimidating for me )

It has a dull color for a vehicle with such angular curves , perhaps some sharp metallic on the engine parts
would help pull in the needed contrast .

btw i really like your pilot canopy area , its rare to see such a solid color on the clear plastic . Any tips
on how you did it?

Patience and a bit of tissue to wipe away the paint I got on the actual canopy, There is about 4-5 watered down coats on there.

There is a bronze metallic on the engine parts didnt come up overly well in the photo unfortunately.

Did you undercoat the canopy? or just paint the blue on?

Just painted the blue on, I didnt want to risk ruining the see through parts of it. Hence the need for the muliple coats of the blue

I painted a wave serpent with a couple of Vypers as well, might post them in a picture tomorrow.

Yup the same tiefling. Loved BG2 and no one ever seems to use the name.

I like the falcons, but not the vipers.

They look like WIP still to me. Maybe they need some detailing.

The vypers were my first painted vehicles, and I didnt do much if any highlighting on them, I need to go back overthem and add that.

I like the look of your Falcons and can't wait to see what those Vipers look like when you go back over them.

I'm not a big follower of the Eldar, though I'd like an Army eventually, is that one of the established craftworlds or a home brewed one?

Home brewed one, havent named it yet need to get around to that but more concentrating on the painting aspect of it.

Here is the wraithlord I painted, it was one of the first models that I painted after being away from the hobby for 6-7 years.

I think it came up alright but compared to my later models i think I can do much better,



Edit - Wow the flash makes that sword glow doesnt it hehe.

Those look pretty good. Not a bad paint job at all. Ive found it hard to paint purples and have them come out good. once again nice job

Great job, but i believe you can still do more with the falcon, its looking great, but rather unfinished as well.

or maybe it could just be the pics.

Thanks for the kind words, I tried posting a picture of my Autarch but my camera phone doesnt like it much so will wait till I get a digital camera to post it

One shot glass is enough for us yanks you ossies must be lushes. I like your blues nice tone and all that.
