I've got a new game of D&D starting up in a couple weeks and I'm running a Tiefling Swordmage. Problem is, there are no Tiefling models that I can even find to represent my character. Reaper has one model that might work, but it's just a mage and, frankly, it's kinda ugly.

Any help? I'd need a leather armored male figure with horns and a tail, but not cloven feet. I'm not above conversions, but I do have to make 3 of them to represent my various powers.

Anyone know a company that makes demonic heads?

Reaper has a couple. Looking at their figure finder, "Tiefling" doesn't come up with anything (probably copyrighted by WotC). Try Hellborn for three results.

I just finished converting one last night for a D&D game where I'm playing a Tiefling Paladin. I used a body from "03200: Benedikt Hellhorn, Evil Warrior" and a head from "03321: Damien, Hellborn Wizard". I didn't realize the shield has a very big demonic head on it I couldn't cleanly remove, so I fabricated a new shield out of some scrap plastic. Some of the details on the armor were toned down as I wanted the bulky complex armor look btu not quite so spiky. I also added some longer hair and a tail. If I get a chance, I'll try to photograph the WIP tonight.

If I'm not mistaken Reaper made a model, called an assassin, which was literally the image used for a tiefling from the 3.5ed MM. The only difference is I think the figure was missing the horns on it's forehead. I got it around somewhere....

As soon as you find the right fig, lovingly paint him to the nines the character he represents will be horribly killed by Kobolds.

That's what will probably happen to me. If it does, oh well. I'm making my new character so I can reuse one from the box-o-minis we keep from previous campaigns.

My presents for the group this year were Reaper minis for everybody's character as no one had had the time to acquire minis that really fit so we were using a mix of "kinda--sorta right' minis. At least now all the PCs should be at least close.
