Stupid question but can demonhunters with storm trooper infantry make use of baneblades and the other super heavy variants?

Fluffwise, I'd say an Inquisitor can requisition whatever he wants.

Ruleswise, in Apocalypse you can take anything with anything, so go for it. If you're talking regular ol' 40k, Baneblades and the like are not in the DH codex, nor are they allowed from taking IG allies (nor are they in the IG codex), so you can't use them.

Now, please excuse me. I have to go finish my Vulkan + a few hundred SoB Apocalypse army.

Mostly right, but you can definately take Guard in a DH army, it is right in the codex stating you can do so.

And fluff wise, an Inquisitor can requisition anything he or she wants, up to and including entire chapters of Marines, so a baneblade would be small potatoes in that light.

Where did I say DH couldn't take IG allies?
