I was just curious if any Dakkaites attended DieCon, in St. Louis.

I'll be going there myself this year and I'd like to play against some of you guys in the RTT if anyone else plans on coming.

Bit of a long drive for me, but I'm curious. Is there a website?

Yeah, just google DieCon. From what I understand the prize support is pretty lame, they just gave out some cheesy trophy's last year, but theirs hope it'll be better this year. It's actually held in Collinsville, which is on the Illinois side of the Mississippi.

I've gone about 4 out of the last 6 years and it gets better.

It' regional and manned by a very dedicated crew.

It's a "total gaming con" that has had to make more space each year for the 40k guys like us.

I'll be bringing my Adepticon survivors this year. I can tentatively give it a thumbs up. But don't go if you're a prize support snob.

I don't really care about the prizes, I just want to play against "good" players.

Good players are everywhere...but if you want to play against the best in the country, come to Chicago for AdeptiCon.

Not this year, but I'll try like hell next year. I'm gonna be on vacation in Michigan this year.

Not necessarily the "best" players, but the ones that have the time and money to attend a big convention.
