This is a list I made that has elements that I don't normally use but seems fun, let me know what you guys think!

Scorpion Armor, Crown of Kings, Vambraces, Greatweapon

I used to run destroyer/shapesh but the destroyer was never useful until later on in the game (as I run a mainly shooty army) and even though I LOVE it and it's uses, I wanted to try a more tactially flexible Lord, for a shooty list the 2X2d6 pick highest I think really makes a difference as he can soak up 4 dispel dice.

I was also thinking of droping vambraces and giving him cloak of dunes (instead of hirophant having it) so he can fly and urgency chariots or himself into combat with warmachines, I used to do cloak and destroyer and man that was fun!

(I know, they normally suck, but they are fast and I was thinking of using them to urgency them in front of two units (as per plasma puffs tactica?) to divert and delay them, very handy tool/tactic for a shooty list imo.)

useful for warmachine hunting (came from below )or just protecting flanks or whatever, was thinking of dropping to one base to use for diverting charges.

I've always loved tombguard, not for anything other than them being t4, ws3 and thus being a much better sponge unit than regular skeletons..they have always taken a beating much better than my regular skeletons! Also, Icon of Rakaph gives them a GREAT tactical edge, being able to reform and charge a unit in your flank/rear on the fly is a game winner sometimes

what is not to like, usually do came from below to kill warmachines but can be used to add umph to cc with skeleton untis or just divert charges!

2 catapults are pretty shooty, was wondering if I should drop a catapult for a casket just to add more umph to magic phase or give different kind of shooting to the list.

Any suggestions/questions? I basically play defensively and try to set the enemy up to where a good flank charge from chariots/ushabti can rampage across the lines.

So yeah, just finished the tournament today, after some really bad rolling I still managed to come out second in the tournament.

So, if anyone cares, some feedback from my list:

Deployment was kinda cramped and things didn't work out as I thought. The armies I played either outshot me or were too fast for my shooting to do much.

With that said, two catapults I think is a bit much for anyone, they seldom do what you WANT them to do against good opponents. I am thinking of droping one for a casket or just dropping one completely.

The units of 21 skeletons with hw/shield always did AWESOME and I have to say either kept me from losing worse or gave me the win. I think I will give them undying legion from now on and give my chariot unit the warbanner.

Carrion were truly amazing as well and I think I will make them a unit of 5 permanantly as the bigger unit woulda helped.

the archer unit was nice support and a good sponge unit for charges, the swarms were nice too to just be able to throw into the flank or rear late in the game or to come up and take out warmachines and the scorpion was also very handy every game.

Ushabti always kill stuff and I love em, always a nice hammer unit to have around.

The light horsemen were ok for the extra shots and the diverting charge thing, I think I need to play more games to get it all down.

Tomb guard were AWESOME sponges and even did damage =D. I think I will keep them for sure.

As far as hero setup, an extra scroll woulda been more handy, 4 dispel dice sucks and besides that, the tomb prince in chariot definately made the unit more deadly with chariot of fire!

My tombking setup sucked! Scorpion armor is so situational and I continually wished he would be able to do more damage in combat. the crown of kings was truly amazing though for boosting the magic phase, definately a keeper.

I think I might have crown of kings/flail of skulls setup and maybe enchanted shield or something random who knows but crown of kings is definately a keeper =D.
