well i hav recently had the idea of makin my own tau sept but i wont go into details but basicly they are savage and live with the kroot
i cant think of a way in witch to make the tau look savage and how to paint them any ideas?

And paint them up in earth tones rather than nice bright stuff. Pay extra attention to heavy weathering on the models.

ok monkys kl idea but i was goin for somthin more original like typhus's idea but thnx anyway

well, feathers and spikes would not be my first option, but, maybe, paint them as the normal tau fire warrior (the yellow and brown scheme) then but some coloured zigzags on them, maybe rust the edges of the armour a bit and dirty them up

osc nice idea but i think i will go for a uniqe paint scheme but who knows does any one else hav any advice on the paint scheme

paint them completely black and just lightly drybrush grey. Then put tons of huge static grass on their bases and say they're hiding in the bushes.

lamb nice idea but if i had given more detail about my sept it would say they live on a planit of rock and sand

i dont realy like the idea of paintin them all 1 colour espesialy black
