I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I have a Q with Bonding Knives.

If you give your commander a BK and attach him to another unit (say, Fire Warriors), can they then use the bonding knife if broken to re-group?

I don't have the Rule Book, I have that small one that came with the Black Reach set.

That is the rulebook. The big rulebook and the small black reach rulebook have the same rules, and the same page numbers. Convenient!
