I'm a primary daemon player, and am having trouble wih the horror models. All the bits won't stay on, and is too small for me to pin. My questions are: Is anyone else having issues with this? How have you resolved this, I even used green stuff with no success? Does anyone have a good method of making horrors from other models or know of a decent substitution for the models? I love using horrors but it is so frustration for me.

I haven't tried the epoxy, I see if I can find some.
The holding them together longer isn't the problem, it's the normal wear and tear that cause the horns and arms to fall off. I don't have this problem with any of the other puter models, that's usuallybecause I can pin them.

I don't know your modelling skill level or experience but are you glueing over paint, primer or even another type of glue?

I second the 2-part epoxy
I use 5-min 2-part for all the metal fiddly bits
(then all you have to worry about is that damn horror standing on it's hand breaking off at the wrist... grumble)

QFT!
"90 second araldite" is possibly the best thing going, i tend to use it when im too lazy to pin a model, ive dropped my thirster several times now and it stays stuck in place.
and its pretty cheap, most craft shops sell it, allthough 99% of all fishing tackle shops sell it too.

Here is what I did for my horrors, and it has worked pretty well so far:
Score both joints with a knife. The areas are small, so you'll only get two or three score hatches in, but that is fine.
Take a small piece of tissue paper and place it between the joint, apply super glue and let dry. Between the scoring and the tissue paper, it should help strengthen the join enough that it won't break as easily.

I absolutely HATED putting together horrors. Cool models, but not worth the effort if you asked me. You probably will need something stronger than reg. super glue, as stated. But I found I actually had to greenstuff their arm sockets after glueing them on (sort of creating a new shoulder or whatever the tzneetch equivalent would be). this still doesn't work great, but it's better.
My resolution was to go on ebay and get old school 1st and 2nd edition horrors. I actually like how they look a little better, even if they aint as fancy.
Once/If they make plastic horrors this will be a thing of the past, till then, good luck!
