Yes, I know there are alot of these thread so I thought I minus well make one to (especially since I just recently finished my first miniature). There are some problems that I am currently fixing with him, but, overall, I am happy with the outcome

Before anyone says anything - no, I do NOT have the drill vice or whatever you call it. As soon as I get one I will drill out the barrels. (When I got these I forgot about 50% of the things I needed, including Chaos Black Spray (primer or whatnot), Sculpting Tools, Clippers, Washes... ect. :/

(Also, I redid his teeth so I shall update the front view in a bit)

So what do you think? (and I know theres a giant spot on his back that is brighter then the rest of his shirt).

I must compliment you for making the flat colours that even and clean, on your first model, without primer. Definately beats mine.

Solid first effort, much better than my first mini.

Nice it looks better than my first paintjob, although due to a lack of paint diversity my first paintjob ended up wearing a bright orange prison onesie... that actually led to the idea for a convict mob army but for orks it didnt really work... anyway good job.

Looks alot better than my first few guardsmen . My only complaint is that his axe doesnt look Orky enough, maybe give it some rust or blood stains.

I often think one of the hardest bits of painting miniatures is staying inside the lines, from the looks of it you've already got it!!!

Excellent start. Now just hit it with a wash of devlan mud or badab black all over and it'll look even better! But well done on your first!
