I'm going to assume you will be using the battle wagon as transport for your Boss,mek and Nobz.

I would split the HQ's. I wouldn't put them into one unit/one transport. It'll be obvious everybody will shoot that transport/unit first.

Exactly, place the mek in a seperate transport, you can keep him close to the battle wagon so it benifits from the kff,but you don't want both your HQ's going up in smoke on one go.

Mmmm,I would keep your first list,keep the Boss with the nobz & the Battle wagon and perhaps drop one sqaud of boyz & their trukk for a looted wagon for the mekz transport,attach him to some burna boyz and load 'em in the looted wagon and Bar b que everything in sight.

The last list looks fine, its battlewagon spam and it could work well.

It's not Speed Freaks anymore though. If anything, its Deathskulls with an over zealous Big Mek. The first list looked most like a Speed Freaks list. If I were you, I might drop the KFF Mek from the fist list, cut back a couple nobs and make them bikers. As soon as you do this, it screams at you to abuse wound allocation, but it gives you a scoring punch. Then push some points around and make the Battle Wagon a dakka boat to draw fire and cover your lads into the fray.

Speed Freaks are a reckless lot. The list should never seem absolutely solid, as it isn't. You either get to the battle in 2 turns and resolve the huge mess by turn 4, or you die in the attempt. The joy should be in watching your trukks get 25" across the board on turn 1, right into the face of the enemy.

Oh yes, 5 scoring units that can move of 2 feet, and all grab some kind of cover save, is Speed Freaks to the extreme.

This list will hit like a hammer if you go first, and might flounder if they take out a few transports if you go second. The Storm Boyz, Bikers and Deffkoptas should give you some insurence against that though.

Koptas are beautiful things. Turboboost with scout and move like normal in the actual movement phase. I'd try to find the points for a PK for them though. They can lock units up and Hit and Run away at the end of their turn, but having something that hit hard while you are stuck in for 2 player turns and helps if they catch you during the test is a must.

The Battlewagon will do a great job of keeping the Nobs save. Just shock it into an objective and assault anyone who survives. Yes, this list is a good Speed Freaks. It might run better than having the bikers. I think you should still try to abuse the wound allocation, just because you can.

Personally I dont see the point in taking a battlewagon if your not paying for the def rolla. Just tank shock the piss out of a unit and assault anything that moves afterwards. Whats better then that?

I dont see anything wrong with this list, you have everything at least basically covered.

Your last list is playable, it works, its got a good amount of boyz and flashy bitz.
