Well I spent 2 days over Easter painting this, I have to say this is my best effort yet. I am so proud of it that I wanted to post it on the forum .

Hope you guys like it. It is the start to my first army in Fantasy.

One last thing to do is to give it a coat of varnish I was wondering do you lose detail when you varnish? I remember along time ago i used some brush on matt ones and it would remove my high lights and make it look like the mini was in base colours

I like the high amount of silver on it, the gray look it has goes really well with the red gems.

getting bored of the normal blue tinted High Elf armor ^^b

Very nice. I like the shadeing on the blue scaly hide. He'll make a good centerpiece to the army and your halfway to a 1500 pt force already

Actuallty I am debating over doing my dragon blue or maybe even a regular old green dragon. Only thing I would suggest is on the base. I think the gray rocky outcrop looks great and I wish you would just continue that to that on the flat part of the base(just abit of texture and a drybrush even) instead of going right into the green.

Nice one, although the base needs some basing.

Love the throwback green base though! Put some old school green flock and that dragon is a winner in my book.
