Dear Dakka Community,
I am in the process of working out a few different projects, one of which is True Scale Marines!! Using inspiration from the Likes of Doghouse, Synapse, Apologist and Migsula I plan of doing a true scale 1500pt army. I want this to be a labor of love so to speak. My main issue at this point is which chapter? There are so many out there, I just don't know what to choose? I'd like to do something unique that isn't always done, which might exclude the first two in my poll (Imperial Fist, Crimson Fist), but your opinions do matter!!
So anyway, it's now up to you Dakka! Help me decide which Chapter I should do!!

I want to make this blog similar to Migsula's and Apologist blogs in terms of depth and scale. I just want to push myself and my creativity to a level that it hasn't been to before.

I wouldn't mind doing Soul Drinkers, however, I am not keen on the mutation front. Plus I haven't read Chapter War or the newest novel yet, so I have no clue what's going on.
Also I am not sure what codex would be the best to use to represent them?? From what I hear the Chaos Codex sucks, and I am not sure if the new Space Marine codex would do them justice?
I won't discount it, but I am not sure if it would work well...make sense?
Keep the votes, discussion and ideas coming! I need you Dakka, you're my only hope =D

does it matter what's going on?
no! all you need to know is Marines in purple with spider legs. That's a surefire way to make a win army.
Also apparently the blood angels codex would be a good count as soul drinkers from what i've heard.

Yes it does matter...(Not being rude =D)
I don't know who is alive, who is dead, how the chapter is currently set up all these things play into how an army is put together. Is Telos (or is it Telios) still around? Last I knew he was further into madness and Khorne worshipping than any other Soul Drinker.
I wish the chapter would purge itself from chaos and mutation and embrace the emperor once again. They would have been a far cooler chapter that way! Plus it's hard to think that a chapter from the Imperial Fist gene-seed would fall prey to Chaos.
Just my own humble opinion =D

I am working on a soul drinkers army right now I would have to vote against it. I think with the mutations involved it would look rather odd to see all the marines increased in size too.
